The reason those people are poor is not because of the system, its because they made bad decisions. By giving the money of the responsible to those who are not; you will simply provide them the fish without the fishing lessons.

Bet you expected nothing but the choir, sorry I'm here to ruin your back patting.

Democrats will only let liberally biased networks sponsor their debates, god forbid the other side should get a shot...oh wait they don't really believe in god.

How long have you been practicing FASCISM? The Democrat Party not only has shown a belief in God you pathetic Nazi, THEY have proven it. When you look at this nation and all it's great battles, all it's rights and everything we are as a nation there has been ONE constant through it all. The DEMOCRATIC Party. If they choose, because of their radical and UN American approach to the news, to refuse to do business with FOX news there should be NO issue PERIOD. By the way you do know that Fascism is a treatable mental condition don't you? Sieg Heil

Take a look at this bloated piece of Republishit. He epitomizes everything the Republicrap Party stands for - lying, cheating, twisting the truth to suit their own needs, robbing from the poor to further the wealthy of the rich, wave the flag when it suits the corporstions, screw the veterans out of their healthy care after they have given the supreme measure of devotion to God and Country, etc.

I am amused by the idiotic postings of Republicunt Party members like edicius1 that think their Party believes in or serves "God."

They worship two Gods...their *** and their wallets.

Monty4-

the sad part is that this theory has already been fulfilled in our country. It accumulated with the conclusive period called
"THE GREAT DEPRESSION" -

Bush has already revisited most of the requirements to put us well onto the road of
"instant replay" -

New cast, crew and background scenery -
same conclusion and the same elitist profiting.
The only non-elitist comment I've heard recently that reeks of truth is that Americans need more education. It's all out there - the whole ugly TRUTH with historically conclusive evidence. But we don't want to worry our little minds with petty knowledge because we have to be alert and wait for those wmd's and our terrorist neighbors whom we need to watch for constantly.

In other words, capitalist economics praises servitude over independence, kow-towing over defiance and altruism over egoism. The "rational" person of neo-classical economics does not confront authority, rather he accommodates himself to it. For, in the long run, such self-negation will pay off with a bigger cake with (it is claimed) correspondingly bigger crumbs "trickling" downwards. In other words, in the short-term, the gains may flow to the elite but in the future we will all gain as some of it will trickle (back) down to the working people who created them in the first place. But, unfortunately, in the real world uncertainty is the rule and the future is unknown. The history of capitalism shows that economic growth is quite compatible with stagnating wages, increasing poverty and insecurity for workers and their families, rising inequality and wealth accumulating in fewer and fewer hands (the example of the USA and Chile from the 1970s to 1990s and Chile spring to mind). And, of course, even if workers kow-tow to bosses, the bosses may just move production elsewhere anyway (as tens of thousands of "down-sized" workers across the West can testify). For more details of this process in the USA see Edward S. Herman's article "Immiserating Growth: The First World" in Z Magazine, July 1994.

You all are naive sheep, you have been told how to think. Independent analysis means nothing to you I'm sure.

But since you wanted everyone to jerk you off, I'll have to address the issue you brought up:

And just because you're unintelligent dallison7 :

But, you think poor people are just unlucky, so you really don't understand much.(especially not this country)

You are a very rude and vile person. Do you spew hate everywhere you go, at work, at home, in church? Or do you just do that here, in stealth? What kind of person could have raised an individual like you? I certainly wouldn't want to meet your mother in a dark alley!

So it is your contention, then, that the reason Bush is rich is because he has made 'good choices'?

Your narrow-minded analogy has been the battle cry of the greedy for generations. "I want them to have the best care available, as long as I don't have to chip in".

'In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press....They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers.' " 'The world can therefore seize the opportunity [Persian Gulf crisis] to fulfill the long--held promise of a New World Order where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind.'

And just because you're unintelligent dallison7 :

"To coin a phrase, an 'inconvenient truth' "

You really shouldn't use common colloquialisms if you have no idea of its meaning.

"Coining a phrase" would be inventing a phrase; or making up a phrase. What you should say is, "hey I'm going to use Al-Gore's paradoxical title in my own sophmoric writing."

But, you think poor people are just unlucky, so you really don't understand much.(especially not this country)

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times,
Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended
our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.
It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had
been subject to the bright lights of publicity during these years. But, the world
is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The
supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable
to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

Why don't you deal with what the article was about, and respond to my obvious examples of how CBS is far more biased than FOX ever was.

But since you wanted everyone to jerk you off, I'll have to address the issue you brought up:

"Redistribution of wealth to lift up the less fortunate is the intelligent direction. How many brilliant minds have we wasted because higher education is our of reach for many children? How much of the crime can be attributed to despair?"

The reason those people are poor is not because of the system, its because they made bad decisions. By giving the money of the responsible to those who are not; you will simply provide them the fish without the fishing lessons.

TAKING THE COMMENT ONE STEP FURTHER:

It is the moral obligation of the leaders of a nation to improve the living conditions and 'quality of life' for it's citizens... rich and poor.

Therefore, the richer the nation, the higher the standard of living should be for all of it's citizens.

The United States of America is the wealthiest nation on the planet, but with far from the best 'standard of living'. The only way we can claim our rightful place in the world is with more social programs (entitlements the republicans like to call them).

Redistribution of wealth to lift up the less fortunate is the intelligent direction. How many brilliant minds have we wasted because higher education is our of reach for many children? How much of the crime can be attributed to despair?

BEGIN PART 2

Gingrich Had Affair During Clinton Probe Video Watch:Former House Speaker Admits He Was Cheating, Says Clinton's Lie Was At Issue
(BTW he explicitly stated he wasn't critcizing his personal actions but rather the act of purjery. Newt, unlike what is implied, lied to no one)

Rove: Obama "Articulate" But Inexperienced
tagline:Bush Political Adviser Is Latest To Use "A" Word To Describe Democratic Candidate

FBI Illegally Used Patriot Act, Audit Says Video Watch:Justice Department Report Claims Bureau Improperly Used Terror Bill To Obtain Private Information

Report: Rove Was Pressed On Prosecutor
:N.M. GOP Chief Claims He Approached Bush Aide Rove About Ousting U.S. Attorney, Report Says

All blatantly antagonizing to conservatives. Now please go grab all the biased headlines up at this moment on fox that have the same thing (becuase they report all sides). But you will actually see that news that hurts liberals as well on there.

You all are naive sheep, you have been told how to think. Independent analysis means nothing to you I'm sure.

FOX is biased on its opinion based shows. It's reporting of the news is quite fair and balanced; which is more than I can say for CBS.

But hey theres enough of you guys here to complete the cricle jerk, just like there is at CBS. Because when CBS was informally surveyed, no conservatives could be found working there.

Did you know that O'reilly's writing staff is nearly 50/50 liberal to conservative?

Here's some great anti-conservative articles I grabbed from CBS tonight. See if you can find any anti-liberal ones:

Firefighters Blast Rudy For Post-9/11 Acts
