What's the saying? Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
Sleaze knows no party lines. The arrogant pols in Washington see themselves as untouchable.
I have no respect left for any of them. Many are just old drunks who long ago forgot their vows to maintain the public trust.
'Nuff said.

Crazy. Gingrich claims to be "honest". And yet he will not admit that the Clinton impeachment was politically motivated. And the Christian audience swallows it like Monica.

If you accept such excuses, as a Christian, you are humiliating yourself, and your religion. Gingrich has admitted himself a liar and an adulterer; what standards does Dobson has, his faith says he ought not to consort with such men. What kind of Christians are these?

Sometimes I wonder if Billy Graham had it wrong. You can certainly convert people in a quick manner as he did, but the quality of their Christianity may be so poor its worth nothing anyway. What good is a "conversion experience" if the result is a callous killer like Bush or a lying adulterer like Gingrich or a fawning toady and respecter of persons like Dobson.

Jeez, all the b#@*&% has to do is tell all to the conservative Christians instead of running to a rehab center! What a crock! He might as well be going to Catholic confession to absolve himself of his sins. Yeah, I know. The really bad thing Clinton did was to lie under oath, which was really stupid. Then he decided to get ministerial counseling too. Clinton exhibited the phychological manifestations of a child of an alcoholic, which he was. And he was afraid to harm his marriage and his daughter. Yet, whether president or not, he lied under oath. Not good. He did a lot of good which is more than I can say about Gingrich. Gingrich has probably done more bad than we know. He says in this article he has done things that have "fallen short of his own standards...and God's standards." Does he have two sets of standards, I wonder? And are his so-called shortcomings different for each? Hmmm!

holy hilarious hypocrites newtman!!
So Foley was out page-boy hunting and newt was tappin' the aide while they all played pompous and holier than Bill!
And it continues- Righteous Brother Lindsey Graham said yesterday that perjury isn't that bad -of course he was talking about Scooter. When pressed about the difference from Clinton's case, Graham said it was like "apples and oranges". So apples are a stained dress and oranges are enabling liars to start an unnecessary war with 3000 plus American heroes dead while outing a CIA agent because her husband disagreed with Cheney.
That's some powerful apple-orange Koolaid!

God Help America
God Bless our Troops
God forgive George Bush

This story only exist as a stepping stone for Newt to declare.
He went to a freindly group to throw some softball questions so he could admit what we already knew to innoculate himself now and it will be "old news" during the race.
I guess we can't have a president who has not had an extra-marital affair anymore.

Being a "good" Christian, he probably just forgot that Jesus said,"He who is without sin may cast the first stone."
Just another hypocrite.

I'm sure dead people voted for Nixon in that election too. but you are talking about a very few votes on paper. Fraudulently programmed electronic voting machines could/would be in the millions.

CPJL1: What is most boggling is that there are millions of lemmings waiting in the wings to vote for him because of his "salvation."

So Newt Gingrich was involved in an extra curricular affair whilst President Clinton was doing the same thing.

Yet the Gingrich affair was alright whilst Clinton's affair was just plain wrong. Not withstanding whilst Clinton was being investigated Osama Bin Laden was making his plans against us, and Clinton could not have been seen to attack him, because he would have been accused of trying to deflect criticism.

And this man wants to be the next President of the United States of America. The mind boggles.

talkingham

You are right on with that! I grew up amoung Southern Christian Conservatives myself. Hell I was one. They are absolutely the most hypocritical bunch I've ever seen. They will stone the adulterers in the town square in the morning an be in bed with their mistress by nightfall. I've lost count of the fire and brimstone preachers who were caught with there hand in someones cookie jar.
