- We should all support the Democratic Leaders and HOPE that somehow they can bring SANITY back to our Government. IF things continue, IF the world continues to turn against us, IF we continue to be viewed as Criminals and our Government as Fascist, we can not long endure. We have NO friends anymore and we have NO support. If we aren't bankrupt we should be getting very close and no one seems to give a *** in the Republican Party. In WW II we had ALL those nations with us and ALL the Allies we could get and still it streached us to the limit. The way it's going our enemy is gaining strenght in Afganistan and NATO is NOT going to stand by us very much longer if we continue with the insanity in IRAQ. Civil War's are nasty things even in good times but in Afganistan we have a REAL enemy and a REAL War that MUST be fought.

As far as the article itself goes it is politcal grandstanding for the 08 elections and nothing more. Congress does not have the authority to place conditions on how a war is to be waged. They can either fund it or not fund the war. I belong to no party. This is simply the facts, and no matter what party you belong to you should be outraged that we are funding terrorist and no one is doing anything about it. Where is your middle, that is what most Americans are?
