You won't get an answer to that one. They avoid hard questions because they prefer to parot the lies of the pundits. If it ain't on the script they ain't touchin' it.

Has it occurred to anyone else but me that the first three letters of LIEBER1881's name are L-I-E?

Yes. And it also occurs to me that he is the banned Lieberman18 and Lieberman181. He keeps coming back like a bad rash that won't go away.

He should have just used the age old, 'I have no recollection.' But he didn't.

Actually he did claim "I can't recall many times". His lawyer also asked Libby's second in command if it were true that Libby had a terrible memory. This is in the transcripts.

A clear an irrefutable fact: Robert Novak exposed Brewster-Jennings, an active CIA front-company. Brewster-Jennings operated under the pretense of being an energy consulting firm when in fact they investigated issues related to weapons proliferation. With these facts not in dispute, the question becomes obvious: why would the administration knowingly and deliberately expose the identity of a covert CIA operation?

I can think of no other reason than to fire a shot-across-the-bow to the intelligence community? Can you come up with a more rational explanation than that? The administration had woven a web of lies, fabrications, and deceits to sell their war of choice. When Wilson publicly challenged the administration on one piece of their fiction they went on the offensive. This outting of Brewster-Jennings sent a clear message to the intelligence community: sound off about the truth and we will stop at nothing, including targeting your family, to destroy you. Anyone got a better interpretation than that? What possible other motive did they have to expose Brewster-Jennings?

The info withheld was regarding the Iraqis attempts to procure yellowcake. We know they were unsuccessful, but they were trying in earnest, it was just a matter of time.
Posted by badaxmofo

They were not trying in earnest or any other country. The Yellowcake business is TIGHTLY controlled in Niger and anything over a hundred pounds is accounted for. It takes "tons" of this stuff to refine to create plutonium. Quit reading the script, try a real book like Hubris.

Why did Libby lie repeatedly and obstruct a FEDERAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION into who outed a COVERT CIA OPERATIVE?

Lars: Nice try. I believe you and I have covered this before. Plame "worked" for Brewster-Jennings; notice the quotation marks. Brewster-Jennings was an energy consulting firm for whom she and many others worked; the fact it was not actually an energy firm but a CIA operation is where the covert part comes in. C'mon pal. Please think before you post! To establish a front company you need to present an appearance of a credible company. By outting Brewster-Jennings the Bush administration destroyed an operation years and millions of dollars in the making. In addition, by printing the name in the paper they revealed the identity of any who had even remotely associated with the company. Again, I beg you Lars, think critically for at least one split second before you post again.

You seem to be willing to investigate real material on these subjects so I'd suggest you go to your local library and pick up copies of "Hubris", "Fiasco" & "Life in the Emerald City". Books written by valid authors, not talking head windbags from either side. They all have real credentials and the author of Fiasco has been praised by military members for his work before.

"personal relief"?

Personal relief for the American people will be when Washington stops political hiring of fat cats and their bimbos. This does apply equally to the Republicans as well as the Dems.

This fat pig Wilson deserves to face a firing squad, and his 'ho Plame needs to find a cathouse to suit her needs. Those who hate Coulter because of their fascist biases should take a look at this incompetent moron whom the CIA was stupid enough (Cliton administration?) to hire, mainly because of her t&a and connection. Nothing more, nothing less.

It was a smear job from the Bush Admin.
Novak outed, Plame, and then outed Brewster-jennings (her place of employment)

In his Hollywood days Ronald Reagan was accused of rape by a young actress named Selene Walters. She claims that after seeing her in a bar he forced his way into her apartment and had his way with her. It was reported in Kitty Kelley's biography of Nancy Reagan.

George W. Bush was accused of rape by a woman named Margie Schodinger. She was found dead of a gunshot wound shortly after filing a lawsuit against Bush.

In Schoedinger's case, it WAS suicide. She was mentally ill. She was making all kinds of bizarre allegations, including that Bush and a gang of Secret Service agents raped her AND her husband repeatedly, for reasons never made clear.

The Reagan allegation is more credible. In those days Hollywood men got away with that sort of thing all the time. That doesn't mean Reagan did it, but it has the ring of truth.

The Mainstream Media has pretty much covered them both up.

plame outed Brewster-Jennings when she listed them on a campaign contribution to gore.... blame her.....
Posted by lars008

How in the world did listing her place of employment out Brewster-Jennings? If I were to list Sun Microsystems would that put them under suspicion for something? You need to take a course in simple logic.

NOTBLUE LIES:
#1 Wilson lied - sent by wife. Wrong!
The CIA, asked to investigate Iraqi Yellowcake purchases sent the best man they knew...the former ambassador of Niger who also happened to have been an attache to Iraq (remember he heroically negotiated the release of hostages prior to the Persian Gulf War). Who else had those types of connections in both Niger and Iraq? Seriously.
#2 Plame not covert. Wrong! She was a NOC (non-official cover) which happens to be about the most dangerous designation for a CIA agent.
#3 No evidence of conspiracy. Wrong! The trifecta for our boy Blue! Cheney directed the outting; Libby, Rove, Armitage, etc. feverishly talked to every reporter they could spreading the story around. No conspiracy? For the love of Christ, they even outted an entire operation, Brewster-Jennings, because this wasn't just a personal vendetta against Plame and Wilson, it was a covert war against the entire intelligence community. Nice try though, Blue.

a) what does that have to do with this story?

b) what illegal did Berger do with the docs?

c) what grade did you aspire to?
Posted by bm6005 at 11:54 AM : Mar 07, 2007 Don't you want to know why he removed classified documents????course not.....he's a democrat.
Posted by b48151

OK fine, edumacate me. Why did he take those docs? In all I've read no one has mentioned that fact. I keep telling you folks I am not a democrat, or a republican. I am for the best candidate running regardless of party affiliation. One thing for sure tho, do not lie to me!
