- seven-pesos, i feel i must comment on your remarks. i agree with much of what you said. there are many "Bible bangers" who are simply born again hypocrites. however, i am one southerner who does not agree with a majority of my neighbors. i often say there's no compassion in conservatism. i live here in the Bible belt and am disgusted by much of what i see. please don't judge all of us just because of the *** out there who just happen to have louder mouths and bigger wallets than some of us. believe me, there are many of us who are praying for a real change in '08. bring it on!!!

Evidently the same reason it took 4 years to bring Libby to trial in the first place.
It effectively negated any immediate calls for further charges.
Fitzgerald, after all, is a republican.
The entire country has given him a lot of cautious respect and trust until now, however if he is closing the entire investigation and filing no further charges he may well lose most if not all of that respect.
I don%u2019t know if congress or anyone else can initiate another Grand Jury investigation. The other culprits need to be brought to justice. - Reply to this comment

You are dodging, weaving and bobing. Armitage waited three years to admit he was one of the leakers. He and Rove and Chaney could have come out immediately before the investigation even started and admitted their roles. Instead they denied and lied and had convenient memory lapses. Libby was the most obvious case and is the designated fall guy.
Why did Cheney and Bush refuse to testify under oath and insist that they be interviewed in the same room with one another?
Why did Libby lie about hearing Plames identity from a reporter when he knew he heard it first from Cheney?
Why do you spend so much energy defending the indefencible, intentional outing of a covert CIA operative and the resultant dismantleing of the CIA front company she was working for?
