I could not help but notice that CBS posted several articles about McCain and Cheney on its web site, but refused to allow any comments, unlike all of the other CBS articles. Why such refusal? When I see the slant of the articles about McCain (e.g. "forgetting" to mention his "wasted lives" comment) and the ridiculous trashing of Gore with huge coverage of some neo-nut's criticism of his high electrical usage or an airline employee's willingness to let him get to his gate without going through the usual security, it's only fair to conclude that the CBS editor is a McCain Republican. Could it be??

Stick a fork in him he is done. He did the stand by your man thing for Bush and it cost him. Unless the Democrats run John Kerry for president they will win the White house in 08!

The facts have not caught up with Giuliani yet. There is a ton of grief for him available in the archives of the N.Y. media. He was a wild and crazy Mayor.

John McCain has already fallen on his sword for W, and he knows he's bleeding.

I'm probably getting a bit ahead of things here - a lot can happen in a year and a half - but to me, watching the contest for the GOP nomination feels a bit like watching the bronze medal consolation match in olympic team sports. That's the way to get out there and 'play for the love of the game', boys!

What a joke the Republicans have become. First they made a contract with America you all remember that one. They sold us and come to find out they did worst then what they said the Democrat's did. I was unhappy with the performance of the Democrat's but I am angry with the attacks on the US Constitution that the Republicans did. So guess what I think next time I will not be fooled again in fact I will keep reminding everyone of how we were fooled and the damaged done by this rotten group.

Gee, CBS/CNN/Fox/ABC would have been harping hours a day for a week if John Kerry had made such a remark at some college somewhere on the West coast.

'Liberal' media? BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

It's too bad that McCain lost his maverick and independent appeal and became a partisan lap dog who is now pandering to the conservatives. What a difference a few years can make. To think that I was once excited about and likely to vote for McCain....yikes!! I have found many other independents who I know are expressing the same thing. McCain did this to himself. it's too bad because the republican offering isn't that much better. Guiliani is popular now because there hasn't been any detailed revelations about any past sins or "macaca moments". But once that happens, the mud will be flying!!!

I agree, he is too old. He had his shot in 2000. I would have voted for him then, but not now....

Um...make that 2000, not 200, though McCain is about old enough to remember that far back.

McCain needs to drop out now before he embarrasses himself further. After being personally attacked by the Rove machine in 200 he has now rolled over like a whipped dog, whining with his legs spread, to the Bush White House. It is a disgusting sight coming from a once brave man. Now he appears to be what he had become, a senile man publicy debasing himself in an attempt to cap his political life off with a trip to the presidency and willing to kiss any-one's backside to get it.

Pathetic.

No mention of the "wasted lives" remark McCain made on Letterman...

Gee, CBS/CNN/Fox/ABC would have been harping hours a day for a week if John Kerry had made such a remark at some college somewhere on the West coast.
