it's too bad about the term limits, we could use GWB for four more years.

It feels so gooood that McCain is gooooing ooout!!! That guy would have been the most serious blow to our country. I am not a Republican, and being a liberal, I would never be. But being realistic, since Republicans could actually win the Presidency --and it would not necessarily be bad to have a shared government, especially having seen what has happened with the legislative and excecutive branches in the hands of Republicans-- Giuliani is waaaay a better choice than the unprincipled McCain, the pseudo-war hero!!!

McCain had his chance in 2000 - he backed back "for the good of the party" - now after 8 years, at 70 years of age, he wants back in?

John, we respect your service but you're not the same man - we have to look 10-20 years ahead now to solve all the problems unleashed by this reckless administration - and we don't need another President falling asleep at Cabinet meetings.

Your right, it is too bad about the term limits. Without them Bill Clinton would still be president, the budget surplus would have paid off the national debt by now, 3000+ American troops wouldn't have died needlessly in Iraq, 20,000 troops wouldn't have lost limbs, we'd have universal health care, Social Security would not be threatened with privatization and the worst problem we'd have in Washington would be if he's cheating on his wife, instead of financial scandal after page scandal after illegal spying scandal. Just think of how much better off the world would be in not for term limits. Oh and George W. Bush would still be harmlessly getting drunk in Texas after every dry hole he's drilled and every company he's run into the ground, instead of being the worst (too say nothing of the most murderous) president in American history, bar none.

, You want another 4 ysars of missleading America, go right ahead & vote for him... Just remember, Rudy thinks Bush is great for giving our New York & New Jersy air space & sea ports to the UAE (Sunni's) --- 9/11 & USS Cole attack was Sunni's,,, 96% of our casualties in a lost Iraq War is by Sunni's.

McCain is too old to be president. At 70 he has missed his chance. The bush hit team smeared him and cheated their way to the whitehouse back when McCain had a chance. Since that time all his cowtowing to the smearers has been sickening to watch. He is a has been who lost any good he once had.

With respect to Rudolf Giuliani becoming president, every Al Quaida member or wannabe should be afraid. They bombed his city and now he might be President - with nukes to boot.

Now that's beautiful...

McCain is just more of the same. He's been a politician so long now he's lost his heart and soul.
We need someone fresh. Some one that will either "win" this mess in the middle east or get out.
Someone that will get the millions of illegals out of this country and put massive fines on those people and companies that hire them.
Someone that will come up with a health care plan for all U.S. Citizens. Something like the congress gave themselves.
Someone that will come up with a plan for all U.S. Citizens to have the best education on earth without going so deeply into debt that they never get out.
If you know someone like that get him or her to declare for 2008 and come out swinging. I'm sure that person would win more votes than what we have running now.
Thank You

"We should win this thing and bring our folks home. If they revert several years later to killing each other with roadside bombs, so be it."
So are you willing to consider that at this point almost any definition of a "win" will be temporary at best and therefore not a win in the most conventional sense? That would be a start.

LOL. The amazing thing is that they poll conservative voters in the first place. I imagine them taking their surveys to the preacher to ask WWJD or to their rich boss to ask which policy would trickle down the best. Then they get their 5th grader to translate the hard stuff like "DOB."
