Comments on: Clinton Warns Bush On Attacking Iran
N.Y. Senator Says Congressional Permission Would Be Needed For Any Iran Strike
- tbweb-he definitely is a member of the royal fmaily. I am pretty sure the money given to the insurgents has been tracked to the Saudi royal family. I know for a fact Saudi Arabia declared that if we pull out they will put the insurgents in power (which would suggest that they are now supplying money). The problem is, we have an oil agreement with them that trumps the whole Iraq thing. I think we basically look the other way when Saudi weapons kill our troops and not Iranians because it is all about politics and oil.

I made a joke once that if bin Laden had attacked a mob business they would have tracked him down and whacked him, but that's not far from the truth, terrorist know what to target! - Reply to this comment
- Zoroastor,
agree, we need to keep things in perspective. And all humor aside, the majority of every day people ( I am not talking about politicicians. I don't trust a single one of them) genuinely want what is best for our Country. We just sometimes seem to differ on how to get there. That is where listening to each other from a position of mutual respect comes into the picture. So that we can find an acceptale solution to our problems. but it seems more and more, that our country has become so devided and untrusting of each other. Each side asigning blame and not looking for viable answers to the challenges we face. It seems that we have come to a cross road. What direction do we take? One of distrust and the problems it is causing, or the one that leads to renewed national unity. I for one yearn for the second choice. Republicans, Democrats, Neo-Cons, Progressives, lets stop this destructive pattern and find a way become a great county again.
Lastly, Zoroastor, I also thank you for your honorable sevice! - Reply to this comment

Are you sure about that? I think the US would act on that if it were true. The public wouldn't let that be ignored. There must be a glitch somewhere that prevents the US from acting. Oil? LOL - Reply to this comment
- bin Laden himself is a member of the Saudi royal family. They told us he is a "black sheep" and has been cast out, but that is where his money comes from I am sure.

- scott267,
you assume I am a neo-con, shame on you. In my post I said I was sorry if you wrote waht you did on purpose. Remember, "rapier witt"? If you are going to attempt humor, don't be so thin of the skin. - Reply to this comment
- If you can't prove the Government of a country was knowingly involved in killing Americans even though its citizens may have been, it's not fair to target that country as a whole. It has to be handled a different way.

I thought that they traced the money back to members of the Saudi royal family. - Reply to this comment
- I'm just messing with ya cause you're in the Navy. But seriously, after spending a year in Iraq myself, I would like to thank you for your service.
I try really hard not to get too emotionally involved in this like some of the regulars seem to. - Reply to this comment
- I was bagging on scott267, and didn't even spell complete correctly. I guess the joke is on me.

- Hey NavyChef (that's on purpose),
It's spelled C-O-M-P-L-E-T-E ! We in the army always knew you in the Navy couldn't spell, we just don't point it out. Leave it to a mean-spirited NeoCon to make fun of someone's grammar and vocab, when the opinion is the point.
"will the only ones who can be mad at are preident are all you stupid repulicans only care about not letting a demacrat in office so why dont you all shut because who ever vote for him are just as much to blam for what going on in iraq and ever where els quit putting the blame on the pres you the voter should be resonsible for what going on just as much as he is you supported him at election time you should support him now because he hasnt change on anything he stared from day one in office."
scottt267,
If you are going to refer to a person or group as "stupid", please be able to spell, form a complet sentence, and use words in proper context. The above only makes you look silly. Or did you do this on purpose? If so, I am sorry for not understanding Your "rapier witt".
P.s.
I use the dictionary for the hard words.

I agree with act like Americans, not party members, America 1st!! The point Hillary is missing to me is concentrating too much on mixing her logic with the past. We need to evaluate the here and now, the present, and look to the future, while the past should guide us the past should not cripple or hinder us! President Bush sees the polls, heard the electorate, hears Congress and his staff. Contrary to popular belief President Bush is not stupid, he's knows what's he's doing. Think for a minute, while everyone is focused on Iraq, suddenly North Korea agrees to a nuke deal, everyone thought North Korea was lost too, now they agree to disarm, one for the Bush administration and that was a biggie! If Iraq turns around which it still may, a lot of people will be eating crow! I think Hillary is over stepping her bounds warning President Bush "publicly", a warning like that should be don't behind the scenes privately, Hillary was in the White House, she knows the drill. - Reply to this comment

- Boy oh boy do I hope Hillary wins. Remember the good times we had under Bill and Hill? Good economy, no war, no smarmy smirking guy p!ssing on our heads and telling us it's raining.
AND as an added bonus, it will really tick off all you smug, stingy, self-centered, short-sighted GOP bullies.

- After reading many of the below posts it occurs to me that many of the people refute being an American and would rather be a Republican or Democract. This just what the elite want. Keep the middle-class at each other while they control everything. Wake up. Put your partisan BS behind you and care about your country! The reality is that it doesn't matter who leads as long as they do a good job. Unlike the morons currently in office. Stop bickering about she's this or that and look at the experience she can bring to the table.
