To bad GunOwnerDan that you are more worried about your damned gun than you are your freedoms! I proudly belong to the American's United for the Separation of Church and State too! I got over worrying about my damned guns when I saw the Religious Right taking over this country in force! There are more important issues at hand! If you had an ounce of intelligence you would know there is no way that Hillary is going to take your gun away from you! You are really dumb enough to think the law is going to go door to door and confiscate your guns! Grow up! The cost of such an undertaking would be astonomical! The American public would never go for the cost! The Republican's use the gun issue to get ignorant people like you to vote for them! And it works every time! Talk about being controled? You are completely controled by Republican's!

I'm a Democrat who's wary of Mrs. Clinton's war stance. At the time she voted to authorize the Iraq war, I was already convinced it was a bad idea. I saw it as artificial hype which the Bush administration made up, out of the blue, in order to precipitate a conflict which wasn't really necessary. After two years of saying nothing about Iraq, suddenly it was all they could talk about, even though there was no watershed event which warranted paying more attention to Iraq. Even if they had the WMDs the administration claimed they did, I didn't consider them a grave or imminent threat to the U.S.--after all, they had chemical weapons in the 70's and 80's, and that didn't present any threat to us at all.

The fact that Mrs. Clinton seemed to have fallen for this made up hype, and voted for it to keep from alienating the rednecks that are pro-war because they think Muslims are just brown-skinned monsters, gives me great pause. I shouldn't have to say to Hilary Clinton, "I could have told you this wasn't a good idea." She should have been smart enough to know it herself.

But you can't claim to support the constitution if you pick and choose which parts to ignore!
Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama will both ignore the parts of the Bill Of Rights they don't like.

Since, as a young man in college, I have been fighting the Religious Extremist in the Religious Reich and NEVER in all those years, even under Johnson, have they been so close to panic. I mean they are out there, claws bared, looking for any way possible to inflect harm on this woman. This may well be, given their horrid history, the most dirty and vile election in US History. Playing fast and dirty with the truth is nothing new for the Religious Reich, they spewed their "Equal but Different" Lie for decades as the "Word of God" so NOTHING is beneth the American Taliban. They KNOW Clinton will honor the 200 year old provisions in our constitution that was defined by the Great Thomas Jefferson as the Wall of Seperation of Church and State. When they were able to pretty much rule the present Government in much the same fashion that the Leaders of Iran do, it's a long fall indeed.

have never understood how, sitting here in Chattanooga, TN, I and my friends knew that the case for war in Iraq was phony from the start, yet Congress had no access to the facts and were "misled." What, they don't have the Internet in the Beltway? Maybe we need a new educational program:"No Senator Left Behind."

You Dems to the far left can't handle the truths of the quotes your leaders made, can you? Everything based on the same faulty intelligence that BOTH PARTIES/BOTH ADMINISTRATIONS BASED THEIR ACTIONS ON AND BOTH BELIEVED TO THE LETTER.

Maybe we do need the "Fairness Doctrine" reinstated, and it needs to include TV News and force CBS, CNN, NBC, and ABC to give equal time to the opposite view as well. They sure don't do it now.

LOL Well when you make your bed you sleep in it Sparky. YOU fascist distroyed the "fairness doctrine" long ago and since the fascist Republican's aren't very newsworthy right now, you live with it! Sieg Heil!
