I'm not so sure this report by these scientists is genuine. I believe that the U.N. is trying to circumvent, and eventually subvert the U.S. government. For thirty years the U.S. has refused to buy into the idea of global warming, and now that this U.N. report is coming out, scientists start talking about how the administration has been misleading the public. I'm don't usually think this way, but this is just too convenient. Even now, the U.N. is behind the publishing of a children's book that talks about the "dangers of global warming%u201D, and it's to be published in the U.S. The U.N. is trying to get at the next generation of Americans, and discredit the government. The problem with the United States, as far as the U.N. is concerned, is it will never bow to the wishes of a foreign power or organization completely, and that is a obstacle to its ambitions. I am not generally a conspiracy theorist, however, I do believe, as I have spelled out above, that the U.N. is trying to conquer the United States from within the system, and we, as Americans, shouldn't be too happy about that. I'm not asking you to believe me baselessly, but just do some research, and you'll come across some things that should anger you.

In closing, I shall cap: I believe the U.N. climate panel lied about man's involvement in global warming, and I believe these scientists are lying about the U.S. government%u2019s "knowledge" of "global warming".

This, I believe, is a setup.

You guys should be focusing your comments and your anger not on each other-but on these scientists who kept quiet while there work was being manipulated!

Up to your prefessional shot stirring tonight? I'll go ahead and tell you that global warming refers to the average temperature around the "globe" and that last year was the overall hottest on record, but you already know that and the melting glaciers, ice shelves and permafrost. You also know that in much of the country winter arrived a 1 1/2 - 2 months late. However, as I let my dogs out in the snow and enjoyed the 13 degree wind chill, my toes tell me that my head is crazy. Winter has arrived in the mid-atlantic states anyone who wants it is welcome to it.

After I saw our 10 day forecast with a couple of days with a high around 20, I discovered a problem that will require a series of meetings next week in L.A. As soon as I can justify an office in Hawaii, I'll learn teleconferencing but not until then.

Stay warm while it is still an option.
Good Night.

Let the scientists figure out how many days all the people of the earth would have to refrain from using energy each year and we could take those days off as vacation, stay at home, eat whatever's in the pantry (uncooked) go to bed early and use no energy at all. Its better to do an energy binge diet than to try to cut back X % every day of the year.

and yes you still sound like a hysterical woman. I don't consume anymore than I have to, I don't buy into junk and other worthless ***. I don't drive a big truck but many people around here do, they also farm and need a truck for their work. If I needed one, I would get one, I don't need one so I drive a small *** job. You are a hypocrite because you're on here telling me how bad I am when you're no better, you're still using electricity, sitting in a heated home, you're still sitting your fat a ss online, just like me.. I do care about the enviroment and I live in a rural area, I'm so sick of hearing about big city liberals whining about the enviroment, move out of that *** if you want a nice enviroment.

Cantshutup, europe and many other countries don't let most of their people own cars, they tax them out of their range, is that fair? I don't think so. It also isn't as spread out as the united states is. I've been to a few places in europe and it's dirty there too... you can't drink the water in many places, don't tell me how great they are. The town I live in does recycling a long with the garbage, we all have an orange recycling bin... maybe you should get off your butt and start it in your town since your so gung ho about things.

dildobildo, America is sooooo far behind other European countries as far as conservation, recycling, and alternative energy sources are concerned...in my city, there's one recycling center which one has to drive across town to get to and it's got laughable business hours...when i lived in Europe 16 yrs ago, every street in my town had recycling bins on every block, they have conservation laws, there were NO American cars and large percentages of people in Europe ride bikes, walk and take the bus...We could learn a lot from our friends across the pond...but Americans want everything they want and they want it now with no thought for the consequences of their greed...I am not a hypocrit because i have been guilty of it myself, but there comes a time when even the dumbest of the dumbest has to realize HEY WE ARE FLUGKING IT ALL UP!!! For what? Instant gratification? Our own comfort??? It was proven looooong ago that the earth is not flat and hey GUESS WHAT?? other people besides US live on it...you think that sounds like a screaming woman DILDOBILDO???? Damnnn straight it does beotch!!!

ten of the warmest years recorded on earth all happened in the last 14 years. The ocean temperature is 8 degrees warmer than it was ten years ago. Flowers are blooming in December in Minnesota. Carbon dioxide levels are at an alarming rate, and the U.S. automobile industry.... cannot sell their cars in most foreign countries because we can't meet their emission standards. But hey, there's no global warming problem!! Just ask bildooreilly.... but doubt he can actually hear you since all he listens to is himself.

Just check your heating bill, these companies pass all these state and federal taxes right on to the consumer. They won't be paying more, we will... so enjoy your hype for your global warming, I sure hope it warms up here soon which according to the weather forcast isn't going to happen for another week.

I got hit by the same ice storm, I think the government passed something that allows public utilities to not have enough employees to cover their areas.... I'd be looking into that before you start whining about global warming.... We've had ice storms for eons...

we can all talk and argue till we suffocate in the polluted air...but until we actually DO something what's the point??? we need to walk, ride our bikes, take the bus, change our lightbulbs to flourescent, demand alternative energy sources, and stop consuming like a bunch of heroin addicted freaks!!!

DEMAND CHANGE!!!! DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING NOW!!!
