You say it's us why Washington doesn't get things done ??? Today Senate repubs. stopped reform, threatened filibuster on War plans, & both BS twice as long as they should --- Pelosi can say
"Mission Accomplished" she accomplished her 100 Hour Plan, accomplishing what republicans delayed.

I keep hoping & praying & sending emails to Congressmen----all towards trying to do everything in my small corner of America to have Bush & Cheney impeached. This insanity, this madness has got to be stopped before more & more are killed & before we go to war with Iran; which is where I believe we're heading if Bush & Cheney are not stopped.
Write/email your Congressmen & pressure them to begin (2) things:
(1) Impeachment proceedings against Bush & Cheney.
(2) A gradual phased withdrawal of US forces over the next (12) to (18) mo.
Many Congressmen are up for re-elction in 2008. That is something that can be used to our advantage. Our representatives in Washington need to know that they won't be re-elected if they do not start impeachment proceedings against Bush & Cheney.

Miltpan,, Kinda like our insults we trade, Americans never lose thier will to fight, neither do other countries... Our leadership now preaches Americans want to lose, we have no will to fight, Support the troops with your mouth only, & they hate us for our freedoms.... All very wrong.

Miltpan,,, Our history isn't as rosey as you would believe. The more you understand that, the better you can understand what we are capable of doing.

Is every thought you have regarding EVERY subject at any time politically driven. I mean are you so blinded by political beliefs that you actually think that republicans are all basically no-good and democrats are all bad. You seem to be a shining example of why things take so long to get done in Washington. I think of myself as a conservative with a lean to the right although I do agree with the democratic point of view mostly regardign the environment. Reps. are not the bane of out existence and Dems are not the saviour to all that is evil. You openly advertise your narrowmindedness when you sound off that way. Fascitsusa is nothing more than an angry teenager. I hope that he aquires intelligence with age.

For crying out loud!

I posted these quotes to the wrong thread. Oh, well. Somehow, they still seem appropriate.

Anyway, I think the "surge" is just another smokescreen to distract our would-be opposition party, while the neo-cons coordinate their plans with Israeli leaders to conduct a tactical nuke strike against Iran.

WHERE ARE ALL THE CONDUMASSES THESE DAYS? Gotta be a real bummer to know as a condum that you're politically a moron that's voted with your head up your *** for all these years, all for the sake of greed, protecting corporate welfare, and your love for your fake Jesus.

Catch that Pepsi feeling, with John Negroponte!

"Under the "Salvador Option", Negroponte had assistance from his colleague from his days in Central America during the 1980s, retired Colonel James Steele. Steel, whose title in Baghdad was counselor for Iraqi security forces, supervised the selection and training of members of the Badr Organization and Mehdi Army, the two largest Shi'ite militias in Iraq, to target the leadership and support networks of a primarily Sunni resistance."

"Planned or not, these death squads promptly spiraled out of control to become the leading cause of death in Iraq. Intentional or not, the scores of tortured, mutilated bodies that turn up on the streets of Baghdad each day are generated by the death squads whose impetus was Negroponte. And it is this US-backed sectarian violence that largely led to the hell-disaster that Iraq is today."

Quite a Guy, that Negroponte!

"In Honduras he earned the distinction of being accused of widespread human-rights violations by the Honduras Commission on Human Rights while he worked as "a tough Cold Warrior who enthusiastically carried out president Ronald Reagan's strategy", according to cables sent between Negroponte and Washington during his tenure there. The human-rights violations carried out by Negroponte were described as "systematic".

"The violations Negroponte oversaw in Honduras were carried out by operatives trained by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Records document his "special intelligence units", better known as "death squads", composed of CIA-trained Honduran armed units who kidnapped, tortured and killed hundreds of people. Negroponte had full knowledge of these activities while making sure US military aid to Honduras increased from US$4 million to $77.4 million a year during his tenure. Under his watch, civilian deaths skyrocketed into the tens of thousands."

Yeah and he killed 3,000,000,000 of his own countrymen too!
As for why the Liberals paint this country in such a bad light....I don't know, but they should move to Japan or France, that way they would save money on the cars and clothes they buy. Why do so many of them hold France in high regard? That is a question only they can answer. That country should agree with everything we as a nation do for the next century and give us THEIR money to do it. They would be having schnitzel and keilbasies with kraut every night at dinner while they assembled BMW's in slave shops during the day if it wasn't for us bailing their ***** out of two big ones in the last century. Why do you liberals think they are so elightened. And why do your women have more balls than your men? Come on...Grow a set guys.
