I am not mad at you. I admire the mental gymnastics that you are capable of. I admire your persistance and resolve to justify the unjustifiable to make sence of the nonsensicle and to shut out any logical or factual information that presents an obsticle to this singular goal.

Yes, Hillary, Truman and Eisenhower both were involved in starting Israel.

See, you keep trying to make this a left/right, Rep/Dem argument. It isn't.

It's right vs. wrong. Bush is an appalling president, and it seems overwhelmingly likely (if one looks at the facts) that the reason he is so bad is that his agenda is actually at odds with the well-being of the country.

Whether the people in the past who did stupid, wrong-headed things had an R or a D next to their name is totally irrelevant, and appears in fact to an attempt on your part to change the subject.

Let me try a new approach: In his administration, what has George Bush done which has benefited the country and its people as a whole?

Valid point, Hillary. But the thing is that my perception of Bush as a war criminal is based on research and investigation, from every source, left & right, that I can find. I formed that perception based on facts, and if and as facts emerge that oppose it, I modify my opinion.

I am, as I have said, politically right wing by philosophy, as the Republicans used to be. I didn't start out wanting to hate Bush. It is as I have observed his continuous lying to pursue an agenda which actively harms this country and its people that I have formed my opinion of him.

This is why I am able to cite sources for my information, and point to specific events. If you would like, I can take the time to compile a list of links and articles from various sources which will further support my viewpoint.

So far, the full extent of your logic or factual support has been "all you libs think the same" and "I'm a soldier so I know." Your support of Bush seems based entirely on an idealogy, and when facts contradict your beliefs, you deny or ignore their existence.

Not impressive. Think about this: Could you be wrong?

The most recent NIE (national intelligence estimate) leaked to the press and covered by every concievable news outlet including fox. The administration has even come out and talked about it.

You hiding under a rock. Or do you have some kind of conservative filter to keep out information you don't want to hear?

As for saying it's all Bush's fault; no, this latest round of the Crusades actually goes back further than that; the establishment of Israel in 1948, for instance, by means of evicting Palestinians from their country, was an act of colossal arrogance and stupidity, and an immediate guarantee of ongoing strife and Arab hatred. The CIA's deposing Iran's democratic government to install a despot, empowering and backing Saddam Hussein and allying ourselves with the corrupt, oppressive House of Saud haven't helped.

But Bush and his ilk have fed the fire to a horrific degree, and in fact put obstacles in the path of measures that actually would protect us form terrorism by blocking the 9/11 Commission recommendations. It was thei incompetence and negligence that allowed 9/11 (or, as I like to call it "the day NORAD stood down") to happen in the first place. In response to that, he invaded the wrong country.

Israeli intelligence estimates that the Iraq war has led to the quintupling of the number of people in the world actively engaged in anti-US terrorism. All of that IS his fault.

I don't believe your suggest scenario will come to pass. But if it does, a good deal of the blame will rest firmly on this administration.

You are remarkably immune to fact and logic. It's really amazing.
