- It is like our troops are being sent for slaughtering. Those people are raised to blow each other up and use themselves as human bombs. How can anyone tell us to just shut up? I truly believe that Bush is the Anti-christ

- Great ... another politician who is going to talk his head off for hours. Just what we need.
The Bush government is now so insecure they can't even handle a symbolic vote against their policies. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. - Reply to this comment
- Give him a few bucks and a couple of golf trips to Scotland and he'll quietly go away.

- Bush/Cheney know Iraq is lost. 20,000 troops won't change that. They simply don't want to have capitulation on their watch. They don't want the helicopter lifting off Saigon on the roof top moment while they're still in power. So they're kicking the can down the road and will blame defeat on their successor when it happens. If some more young kids have to die in the meantime, they don't care.

- Of course a slimy rodent like McConnell is still supporting Bush, but many republicans are pulling harder and harder away from Bush every day. Many of them in the Congress and Senate actually want to get reelected and they're smart enough to know that this sawed off little Napoleon want to be sitting in the White House will take them down with him. He's sinking fast and all of the smart rats are jumping off from his Titanic of an administration.

- It amazes me that when given the chance, the Repubs will continue to dig themselves further into a whole... bush could have simply fallen head over heels in love with the Iraq Study report and moved us out of a failed situation. What did he do...he increases the troops and continues to rely on a incapable PM. And instead of turning on a lame-duck, the Senate Republicants support him, while 70% of the country demanding a pull out. I don't understand it...? God that oil is addictive!

- Mitch McConnell is the ultimate Bush as*s kisser. He has his mouth so tightly pressed to Bush's *** that he keeps running into Condi approaching from the front. He's a disgusting pig and a shi*ty excuse for a human being. He wouldn't know an original thought if it bit him in the butt and he handed his balls over to the party years ago.

- Yes, just like the Republicans to say one thing and do another. Let us do away with the filibuster of course now that we need it because we lost all of our power and ability to force our way on the US well that is a different story. At least one thing when this fails in 08' we can remove more GOP out of congress and put in some new blood. Oh yes and maybe make sure that we get a President that is not brain damaged.

- McConnell; isn't this the same rodent who argued with such venom that the filibuster should be eliminated? Interesting!!
