I heard Biden speak at Hastings Law School in SF about 25 years ago. He absolutely knocked me over with his "presidential mien" at that time. Very smart, very articulate, very knowledgable. Very sure of himself. He's still got all those qualities, with a lot more experience under his belt, especially in the realm of foreign relations. I think he could be a formidable candidate...unless that ego has become his tragic flaw. I can just imagine those presidential debates. Biden will be brilliant, but will he come across as a ego-driven bully? Humility will be an attractive quality in the next election (in contrast to Bush's absence of it). Biden should work on recipes for humble pie. Then he might just have a shot.

Ya know, the more I see of all the already tainted, trough feeding megalomaniacs throwing their hats into the Presidential ring, the more only somewhat tainted Barack Obama becomes interesting.
It is becoming comical with all these Dems entering the race.
Let the circus begin.

There has to be more than readily meets the eye with the Presidential bid by Biden.
I don't know what it may be but time will tell.
Perhaps to take the votes from Hillary?
But then what?
It is certainly going to be one heck of an interesting election.

Hey, while we're at it, I wonder if Gary Hart and Ted Kennedy are going to run this year, too?

"You say Osama, I say Obama, let's call the whole thing off..."

Were Joe Biden "dirty tricks" operatives behind this seemingly accidental mistake ?

"Wed Jan 3, 12:35 PM ET
NEW YORK (AFP) - International news network CNN has apologized to US presidential hopeful Barack Obama after it mistakenly pasted his name on a caption for a story on fugitive Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden."

[Just kidding...]

RE: "Joe Biden will never be President."

I should have said "probably" will never be President.

(If Dubya made it to the Oval Office, anything's possible.)

Joe Biden will never be President.

There's something about him that turns too many people off.
