You're right jimes. I used to work with the insane, so I should know better. Still the temptation is strong to try to help them. Even though I know they're beyond it.

I believe, strongly, that God exists. I readily admit that my belief in God%u2019s existence is based on faith.

Your "belief" is based on a mental image that was forced into you brain by generations before you. This ignorance is handed down by training, not by instinctual belief. You do not believe in a fat happy long-bearded white man sitting on a cloud, but you were brain-washed to be terrified of anything that denied his existence.

Randal -- let it go. To ignore him is to make him go limp.

Why would you want to go to hell? That's pretty sad.

Posted by singinrick at 02:48 AM : Jan 07, 2007

Because pathetic, holier then thou types like you won't be there Rick. I'd rather roast in hell for all eternity, then to spend one day in heaven with an as*shole like you.

Point well made McDazz. Bush is more dangerous to our freedoms than all the terrorists put together. How come we spent hundreds of billions of dollars to destabilize Iraq and at the same time the FAA said it couldn't afford to check all baggage going into the plane's baggage compartment. Wouldn't that have been one of the simpler protections for 9/11? Just qualified, well-paid, security personnel. Bush and Rice were aware that a plane was being considered by Al Qaeda as a weapon. It doesn't take much imagination to figure out where they wanted to strike.

-I guess our founding fathers had no clue what they were doing then right? lol....

The devil will convince you that God's word is just a myth. Only if you accept Jesus into your life can you fully understand. Again though, this is all your choice.

Yawn. Still a joke rick...and not worth any further of my time. Go to your own hell Ricky and sentence me to one that doesn't exist. You're a joke now, as is your God and his book and you always will be. ****k God.

Rick, if you're an example of the typical resident of heaven, I'd rather go to hell.

The bible is a poorly written book by people who's main goal was to constrain the ignorant people who were stupid enough to place their lives in their charge. It's a bad fantasy novel, though I will give it credit for some hot *** scenes, esp the incest ones.

SinginRick:

SinginRick

You're just too easy of a mark. Like I said, you came on here looking for a fight and acting all holier than thou. So, you are getting exactly what you asked for. I place my faith in science and in my own private beliefs. I don't feel I have the right to pose them on anyone else. You don't have a clue what I believe or not believe in because you are just here to prove to yourself your own doubts. If you can be holier than an agnostic and a "angry drunk", then you think you are saved. That's why you have spent so much time here. You think being pious is a free pass to heaven. Thou does protest too much, my friend. Again, you talk the talk, but it comes across very hollow.

You quote back at me words from a science fiction novel as if I should run my life to the words of Star Wars book. A joke. Just like you. Some of us are able to think. Some of us have evolved.

Good night rick. I was fun kicking the joke of your life around for a bit, but I have sleeping to do. Sleeping that involves no fear of the joke that runs your life. All I feel for religious people is pity that they are so uneducated and ignorant.

I figure this. If there is something bigger out there and I have to spend eternity with the likes of you and your pious kind, well, I think you know how i'd feel about that.

I take comfort in feeling all warm, cozy and toasty.

I deny the existence of a God. And you can claim it as much as you like. Denying the truth won't stop it from being true. God is not dead. God never existed.

You molest little boys and girls because God told you to. You tell others how to live their lives, because God told you to. That's a classic definition of a mental illness. Christ was a wise man, who also happened to be nuts and thought he was the son of God. He wasn't. There is no God for him to be the Son of.

Quote scripture rick! Works for me. I've read all the same words you have. All they did was make me want to read less.

That's because I have a brain rick. I know a good sci-fi story when I read one. Or do you want to also start the first church of SPOCK too?
