Okay...I am going to say this one more time.....let us see if you people can get this through your little simple minds.

No one is against immigration here....so stop with the spin......

What we are against is illegal immigration and immigrants who come to this country who REFUSE to learn the language and take over.

Now....have lost my birthplace due to this fact.
I realize you people have compassion for these spanish immigrants who refuse to learn the language.

Now what kind of compassion do you have for your fellow americans who know longer can live in their own birhtplace (can't get a job or buy land there) because they have been chased us out by the spanish refusing to learn our language, making it impossible for us to get jobs and live there. I can't get a job there because all jobs in the paper now read "MUST BE BILINGUAL". (Oh and mind you...binlingual does not mean french, or german or chinese. It means spanish---though if they actually advertised it as "MUST SPEAK SPANISH" that would actually be discriminiation--now wouldn't it. Yes, we are DISCRIMINATED in our own country in our own birthplace. So where is your compassion for that.

Think of the money we'd have for our public schools if we didn't have to accomodate the illegals.

Think of how safe and less crowded the roads would be.

Think of how healthcare and insurance costs would decrease without illegals.

I was always being told as a child that the U.S. was 'one big melting pot'. I was also under the impression that was not something to be ashamed of. Perhaps immigration is a big issue for this country, but I can think of even bigger problems we have. Besides immigration reform is like organized religion. . .it's a nice idea, but it just hasn't been fully figured out yet.

Now you need to go back and start from the beginning of my posts. I myself have made excellent arguments as to why Tancredo is ABSOLUTELY right here. In fact...you have mad pretty much Zero arugments....so would you really like to try again. I happen to have very legitimate complaints here---no matter how YOU try to spin it.....

Now....would YOU like to answer my question? Am I supposed to learn all the 230 different languages of south florida? Where exactly does all this end. Oh and WHY AGAIN...do you seem to think that the spanish are the most special immigrants of all and everyone should bow to THEIR language.? And why again should spanish immigrants have more opportunity than all the other immirgrant groups? So what...now immigrants coming in to our country have to what...learn 2 languages besides their own? How again is all this fair to ANYONE except the spanish.

ozilot---you know what....we had hundreds of thousands of mariel refugees which fidel let out of his prisons and they came to our shores in the 80's while Carter was president. That is when the problem started in Miami. Of course, if you knew anything about Miami at all---you would know that. The GOP has always been the tough party on immigration and I think those two need to get back to their roots.....or join the democratic party...one or the other.
