Eventhough,I was always against U.S invasion in IRAQ but if we look at the reality on the ground,we are not in a situation to leave Iraq forever. If we leave Iraq then what was our purpose of invasion?REMOVING A SECULAR GOVT and bringing ISLAMIC RADICALS into power to form an EXTREMIST ISLAMIC EMPIRE from IRAN in the EAST to LEBANON in the WEST ruled under the commands of those AYATOLLAHs who call us the GREATEST SATAN.Those pople were smarter who had helped SADDAM against those ISLAMIC RADICALS.We need to understand one simple thing"A SECUALR DICATATOR IS MUCH BETTER THEN A DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED RELIGIOUS RADICAL".

Anyone notice what the poll is saying about the 'civil war' question? When I voted it was:

Does the conflict in Iraq rise to the level of "civil war"?

Yes:
84.15%
No:
15.85%

SharnCedar there are two things you can do about Bushrocks, (1)ignore as his postings are harmless.(2)report him for spamming. No one takes him serious, he repeats the same message copied and pasted over and over again at almost every post regardless what the subject matter is.I have chosen to do both options as he does deter from the subject at hand.

Bush quote:

"I will stay in Iraq if it means that the only supporters I have are my wife and my dog."

"There's one thing I'm not going to do, I'm not going to pull our troops off the battlefield before the mission is complete...We can accept nothing less than victory for our children and our grandchildren."

It's perfectly clear.

The troops will never win because they have been fighting a losing battle ever since the insurgency kicked off.

The only way the troops can leave Iraq is for Bush to be either thrown out or he leaves the Presidency once his term is up.

I feel sorry for the troops and their families - I feel contempt for GW Bush.

Bush denies reality. When I first told my kids I thought he was brain damaged (drugs, alcohol?) they thought I was kidding. I'm not. So dubya won't pull out; too bad his dad didn't...

bushrocks is representing the Bush administration on this one - repeat the same inane message enough times, repeat repeat repeat no matter how insane, then the stupidest 35% will go along as if by hypnosis, and it takes only 35% to win an election these days (low turnout).

It may be bush himself posting, given the intellectual dullness and mind-numbing repetitiveness of an inane concept, exactly like bush speeches

Bush and the religious right who put him and other Republican escaped Nazis in power are complete morons.

I wonder if conservatives can actually believe that they voted for this guy. Well, as long as we dont have to pay any taxes who cares, huh ?

He's consistent, that much is true - I think it was last year or so Bush said bringing the troops home was something for "future presidents to decide". My response is a quote from Albert Einstein:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The Republican Nazis who got us into this mess that will now have to cleaned by progressives should have their pensions revolved and their passports renewed.

Then, they should be shipped off to Baghdad.

"bushrocks1" is as out of touch as the complete idiots that put us in the war in Iraq.

"An attempt to establish democracy in the Middle East"
Bushrocks1, what is Israel? It is in the Middle East, is it not a democracy?

"They may not succeed, for reasons outside their control or fault: traitors on the home front being a big one."

First of all the Bush Administration new plenty about what was going to happen if we went to war with Iraq, and with that knowledge what did they do? They sent way to few troops to begin with. When the majority of US war planners said it would take 300,000 to 400,000 troops, we sent only 140,000. Also, when it was time for diplomacy to get support from the world, our President and the most cursory and secretive administration in history took a bullies stance and ignored the opinions of many of our allies.

See, the fools wanting this war in Iraq needed it to begin quickly for POLITICAL REASONS ONLY. If we did not rush into going to war then the dissent in America (which is about half of us, "traitors") would have actually had a voice, and the war in Iraq might have never come to pass.

I WANT FAMILY OF MINE TO COME HOME ALIVE FROM IRAQ. I NEVER WANT CURSORY LEADERS PUTTING MY FAMILIY IN HARMS WAY, WHEN I DON'T KNOW WHY OR FOR DISPUTED REASONS.

Shame on Republicans for their lack of imagination, their poor performance as leaders and their willful ignorance when adapting policies that effect the lives of every American.
