Controversial RNC Ad Against Harold Ford Jr. Produced By Rove Consultant
- mh4cbs,your arguments are so tired. If you would start looking at the Federal Govt. as one big, fat, overfed, obese, bloated, innefficient bottomlss pit that eats every drop of money you could possibly throw at it you would have a whole new perspective.

- Hey Katie!
Why do you ONLY call it 'Class War' when hard working average citizens simply point out how unfair the Bush "tax cuts for the rich" have been? Or complain that they are sick and tired of being hammered by the Bush administration?
Why won't you ever call it "Class War" when Bush tries to destroy Social Security? When corporations send thousands of good jobs overseas? Why is it not 'Class War' when the minimum wage is around $5/hr for the last twenty years? Or when some Bush Billionares scheme to dismantle the inheritance tax (once advocated FOR by the likes of Andrew Carnegie)?
Why isn't it called 'Class War' when the super wealthy pay only about HALF the tax rate on their millions in investment income than I pay on my middle class wages?
Why is it only called 'Class War' if someone mentioned the truth about whats going down on us?
Huh Katie? Huh? - Reply to this comment
Some black men were hung from a tree and strangled to death because of rumors of a black man with a white woman. Using racism as a get out the vote ploy is a low tactic not surprising coming from the bottom feeder republicans. The man who thought this up should be thrown out of politics. The GOP should clean up it's pedophiles before attacking a man for likeing women and football.

- Uh... "The Democrats struck first weeks ago by playing the class card in an add which states that Corker's 'personal income grew by 40 percent to $11 million.'"
Are you KIDDING me? Was your gratuitous inclusion of an apple with an orange an attempt to be balanced?
I'll believe it when CBS actually starts respecting the Fairness Doctrine. (Oh, I know, that is SO 1970's.) - Reply to this comment
- If waterboarding isn't torture, maybe it should be tried on Cheney to get him to tell us why we are REALLY in Iraq, where our Invasion has killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and 2,800 American Troops.
JAIL for Bush and Cheney WAR Criminals! - Reply to this comment
- Did you see Katie tonight saying that Democrats "started the negative ads". Her example? Democrats pointing out the obscene tax cuts for the Rich and ahow the multi-millionaire Republican benefited from it.
CBS labels it "Class Warfare". What ROT. It is a LEGITIMATE ISSUE to criticize these tax cuts. Why doesn;t CBS call it "Class Warfare" when the Very Wealthy pay less percentage tax on millions of investment income than do struggling wage earners??
CBS is so Right Wing Biased it is sickening. Just report the friggin facts CBS. Stop playing to the horse race, the personalities the Rush Limbaughs...
Just report exactly how the GOP has been IN FACT waging "Class Warfare" against hardworking families trying to make ends meet, and the Bush regime will crumble.
Katie, I am so sad in your lost potential to really make a postive impact to journalism. You have turned out to be just another disappointing "News Personality" - Reply to this comment

- As I read these post, I find it amusing that even we as citizens play party politics. The way some are bashed for having an opinion is cheap. Almost as if they are blind to their own parties faults. The fault lies in the fact that we (the represented) have allowed both major parties to act in the manor they do with no true accountability. So they point fingers at each other when they are found out. Each party will throw the most expendable person under the bus with the blame to save face. Why can we not hold our elected officials accountable. Why do we wait until the next election? Each Candidate campaigns on a particular platform which seems to be forgotten shortly after the elections..why do we tolerate big money lobbiest? The citizens of the USA have lost the power that we fought so hard to obtain during our revolution with england by giving more and more power to our officials. We have become the controlled. Tap my phones? Spy on me? What say we tap the government phones of both parties and see what really goes on!

- I see that alot of Karl Rove's gutter- scum rubbed off on his illustrious protege. Scott Howell is a chip off the ol' block. Perhaps Scott should join Karl in Iraq outside the Emerald City.

- STEP BACK FROM FEAR
We in America need to pull back from this Frenzy of Fear that has spellbound us since September 11, 2001. I am not saying to let down our guard or not be prudent with our Law enforcement, Intelligence agencies or Military as their constant job is to protect the American people and they do it well. Rationally speaking it is more likely that a person will be killed in a car accident on the way to get milk than killed by a Terrorist in America. Hispanics coming across our border for work are not the terrorist or the enemy. Unfair trade practices initiated by our government are the cause of our jobs leaving and the demise of the Middle Class in America not some Terrorist plot. Political Parties have been using fear in an attempt to maintain power in this country. Americans do the math you are more likely to do yourself bodily harm than to be harmed by a Terrorist. America is a Land of Opportunity and hopes where people live in Freedom. America is not a land were people will be governed by Fear. - Reply to this comment
- Take Rove, send him to Iraq, make him stand outside of the Emerald City with a sign,, "I helped George W. Bush, throw flowers".

- radiob---do you think its wierd they changed my password? I mean, I'm a little concerned---i would not want anyone signing on under my name and typing comments without my permission. I don't like that someone supplied me with a password. Anyway---I am going to buy them over the weekend if i can't find them a the library.
However, I lost the paper i wrote the names of them on---so i will need to get the titles from you again. I will be sure to let you know as soon as i get them though. Boy, you must think I am a REALLY fast reader ha! ha! - Reply to this comment
