1979: Shah of Iran flees into exile
The Shah of Iran has fled the country following months of increasingly violent protests against his regime.
Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlevi and his wife, Empress Farah, left Tehran and flew to Aswan in Egypt.

Jane correct me know when was this idiot of Iran elected? Was it not last year? And who called for elections in Palestine that gave control to Hamas? Was it not Bush? And under whose watch did the N.Koreans kick the I.A.E.A. out after Clinton got the inspections and cameras at the nuclear facilities? It was Bush.Who just tested a nuclear weapon and who is president? You never even had the nerve to comment on the story I gave you. There is no post from you.So in your world the only America is a republican America. This is not what the founding fathers fought for and it is not what the constitution stands for.Do a google if you know how and get some real facts not the ones fabricated by Fox news.Oh one last thing I hope that you speak like this publicly in front of rational republicans. They will have you hauled off to the nearest sanitarium or locked up as an enemy combantant.

Gosh you are soooo frigging stupid, radiob that you are cr-apping out what is left of your brains.

You sent me a link about one of Jimmy Carter's gifts to the world. That's right, dummy. Your blessed Carter and the Democratic Party chose to betray the Shah of Iran, an American ally, to put in the Ayatollahs and their disciples like the current raghead of Iran who vows to destroy Israel.

And what does Carter do? Heck, he is endorsing Hamas, you idiot. Ditto for Clinton who betrayed Bibi Netanyahu so he could get his peace at any price boy Barak in as PM. Only trouble is, Barak offered the farm at Camp David, and the old Aids ridden babykiller Arafat wanted to kill instead.

You are worried about Ahmedoodahdingdong. Maybe you've got a point, but it was YOUR BOYS, Carter and Clinton who gave us him and granted Kim the baby starver permission to go nuclear. So, gonna blame Bush for this? Or Reagan?? Yeah, beat the drums, dummy. We will need to do something about both North Korea and Iran soon enough.Too bad we lacked Presidents at those critical times who lacked both cojones and courage. And - they were Clinton and Carter.

Try again, radiobooby.

who you ranting and raving about this time little radiob boy? Half of those you named make no sense at all. But then again, neither do you.

Go back to reading your dogeared copy of Mein Kampf. That and Jimmy Carter's "Why Not the Best" will make you feel better - not to mention a tight straightjacket.

There simply are not any democratic candidates for president out there except Obama for the dems and Powell for the Repubs. Who is a candidate that everyone would vote for?
Kerry, Gore, Hillary, Biden, Edwards, are out of it. They are not viable candidates.
At this point, I would vote for Obama or Powell.
I would not vote for any ticket with Hillary, Biden, Edwards, or Gore. A scenario for me, not perfect, but who I would vote for: Obama for Prez., Kerry for VP. Or, for the Repubs, Powell, depending who he would select for his VP.
Best bets in Nov., vote the incumbents out from both parties.
Vote for term limits when possible.
Get the ineffectual government trough feeders out. Their only interest is in preserving their jobs.
New blood, new ideas, fresh enthusiasm to get things done.

Gosh, It is so enjoyable when I struck a nerve with Neo-Fascists. And golly gee, they're about to call me a Racist too. Go put on a pair of diapers, Radiob, Huskerduda, and meboard. You've obviously never faced down the Klan.

Obama needs to show he is the Great Black hope, something Colin Powell is.(and I do disagree with some of his past decisions, including going to the Muktada in Ramallah to talk to the discredited Arafat in 2002) In his book, Powell talks about discrimination and rising above it. In his book Obama cries about people throwing keys at him. If he feels that strong about it, then he needs to tell his fellow Dems there is no room for an unreconstructed bigot like Kleagle boy Byrd in the party. If not, then he is a plantation slave, unlike J.C. Watts, or Mike Steele, or Lynn Swann any of whom I would gladly vote for. Or ever hear of Larry Elder.

No victicrats like Obama or Jesse. Solid, responsible men.

As for you radiob, yes, I know much more about the Iranian threat to Israel more than you do. And think how worst it would be if a Carter or Clinton lacking balls would handle it.

I found it odd that the two political analysts commenting on the '08 Presidental race referred to Barack Obama as "Barack". I doubt they would ever refer to President Bush as "George", or Sen. Clinton as "Hillary", or any other politician by their first name in this context. How about calling him Senator Obama?

Draft Leahy!

How about Patrick Leahy, six term Senator from Vermont? He speaks intelligently, is a hard worker and has the respect of many as an honest man.
