Former Top Aide Says He Warned Hastert's Office About Foley As Early As 2002
- The NRCC took $100,000 from Foley just when the 'overly friendly' emails were being swept under the rug... if it quacks like hush money!

- No, actually cathaleen is right. Everyone knew. The Pages talked to Boehner, who talked to Hastert and Palmer, who talked to Reynolds and Alexander, who sent Kirkland off to ABC to try and cover up the story before it broke. We've got the House Speaker, the Chair of the NRCC and their staff all in on it - seemingly from the start of Bush's first term in office, if not before then.
And, cathaleen is also right about the CIA - they would be inappropriate to this investigation. However the FBI (for those like cathaleen who didn't read the story closely enough to see it's thhem, not the CIA involved) - will snag Hastert, Palmer, Boehner, Reynolds and Alexander: the people responsible for covering up Foley's reprehensible S E Xual predations. - Reply to this comment
- Cathaleen:
You posted that everyone knew and we need to move on. I ask you, did you know that an elected representative from Florida was sending "overly friendly" whatever that means, e-mails to underage male pages and you did nothing about it as well. I certainly did not know and had never heard of Mark Foley until this story broke. Someone must have been keeping the Republican *** under cover. - Reply to this comment
- The GOP has its own "CUT AND RUN" strategy.
They cut Mark Foley all the slack he needed to maintain his prurient conduct and feed his sweaty fantasies about underage boys and then they run from the responsibility for allowing it.
Mr. Speaker & friends:
Declaring %u201CI accept full responsibility%u2026%u201D is not TAKING responsibility. If you truly have taken responsibility you all would be at this minute cleaning out your desks and packing away the pictures on the walls.
Don%u2019t waste our time and smell up the halls of Congress any more by hanging around till Nov 7th. - Reply to this comment
- "Everyone knew" about Foley? That's pretty good. The Democratic Page rep from the House didn't even know about Foley. The Democratic pages themselves, if they were warned at all it was by their Repub. counterparts...
"Get over it"?
Why is it more important to you to keep Republicans in charge than it is to protect the kids? - Reply to this comment
- Eliminate the problem by eliminating all incumbents, vote in Nov. They are all losers.

- The show keeps on rolling along. Nothing like beating a dead horse. This is not CIA material.
Everyone knew about Foley. Let's move on. - Reply to this comment
