- So now, just as with the case with Bob Ney of Ohio, the GOP will attempt to slide someone else into the slot for the election so as not to lose the seat. It probably won't matter if the election deadlines have passed....they'll do what they want and get someone on the ballot. When will this nonsense end? If these guys had any integrity whatsoever, they would remain in the race and lose graciously!
