Clinton should have explained clearly the actual steps he had taken on the advice of his Superspy *** Clarke to kill bin Laden. That would have been effective reply to his critics.Such patient explanation would have also been befitting the kind of saintly, statesmanlike mantle the ex-President has been donning these days.As it is,however,he has come out of the interview as a
grumpy old man.

It is surprising to me how the American people can still believe phrases "weapons of mass destruction" and the "war on terrorism" and that it is being won by war AKA killing in Iraq! First it was weapons of mass destruction and they conducted a search. Found nothing. Then the President gave an ultimatum. It was Suddam they wanted. Okay, got him. Now it is to help the Iraqi people and yet 6,000 civilians were killed within a two month period. What is it? Are you helping them or killing them? And if you are protecting them...who are you protecting them against now? If there was a war with whites against blacks in the U.S. we would call it racial tension, when it happened in Africa, we called it genocide but the Sunnis against the Shi'ites we are calling it terrorism? How are you going to tell the Sunnis and Shi'ites apart? A reporter from India went there and stated he could pass with his limited ability to speak the language...If a reporter from India can pass, how are the soldiers to tell them apart?

Anyone who truly believes that %u201CW%u201D has not made major Forign and domestic policy mistakes is truly out of touch. The Weapons of mass Destruction%u201D lie and the middle east war are just simply wrong, bordering on illegal. The democrats have no loyalty, common sense, or guts, they dismissed Clinton and his very successful term, they deserve every thing they get. I believe President Clinton got it right, no matter how much you may not like him, no matter what moral scope you use to measure his character; we must admit that he got it right. During his administration the world wanted to be part of the American experience. The North Koreans and Iraqis where held in check with just a small amount of funds, we befriend them, help them build commercial enterprise, feed their children, and spank their hand when they get out of line. Clinton effectively used the CIA and military isolate lone foreign threats, not wipe out whole countries. President Clinton got it right, we must bring them into the fold! Let the world experience our Coca-Cola, Levi Jeans, MTV, etc. Let the worlds youth understand capitalism and it benefits. Be honest to the world, tell the world that we%u2019re not perfect, but we are indeed better than most, show true %u201Ccompassion%u201D. We now divide the world into us versus %u201CThe Axis of Evil". Remember the cold war was not won by brut force, it was won via economics.

Billy boy is worried about his wife's run for president. He can not wait to be the first man/lady chaser.

He was too busy being impeached for him to have noticed anything going on in the world around him except for maybe a skirt or two

Hi ANGRYliberal, have you come up with our campaign strat? I suggest we don't do any planning and when something happens in the news, we'll just attribute it to THE PLAN. Work for you? Not to change the subject, but did you see the art about Allen using the N word and the deer head in the post box? And shutup says we don't watch the news!

I find it apalling that of all the intelligent and perceptive things that Bill Clinton said this week-end in all the interviews centered around his global initiatives conference, the only thing that gets reported on on Monday, is that he was sharp with the Fox news interviewer. The press should be ashamed!

And the part about UMD; that was all a part of the plan! Let's waltz in and find out for ourselves. Ooops! No UMD, but that was all part of the plan. See what we REALY want to do is spread democracy around the world--whether you want it our not! See, its part of our plan. I wounder how the Saudi Royal Family is going to feel about our plan? But I bet Jr's taken that into consideration in the BIG Plan. Maybe the Saudi Royal Family get's exempt from that part of the plan? After all, the Saudi's have made important contributions to the plan.

And I guess the Tres Sec is waiting with open arms at the mail box for our BIG FAT oil check from the Iraq Oil Ministry to off set the cost of the war. And the part of the plan that said the people of Iraq will be falling all over us welcoming their liberation; was it suppose to be that short lived? Why change course? Its all falling into place as each YEAR goes by? I can't wait to see what the place will look like in 2053. They may have 24 hr a day power restored by then?

meboard , I heard about that. the Iraninan PM and the Iraqian PM are forging a solid alliance. ironic, that if we actually succeed in building a stable government in Iraq, as soon as we leave they'll ally with our main enemy. How's that for gratitude? Kind of makes you glad we spent 1/2 trillion dollars and gave up numerous American kids for the better good of Iraq...

LestB35 , it'll be like Viet Nam. at some point we will have spent enough money and enough lives and we will simply leave. I wonder who will take Iraq and the world's third largest oil supply when we pull out?
