Yea, and remember how well that flip flopping resonated. The truth is hard to face sometimes.

ShutupMurtha, we have a plan. Phased pull out of Iraq, redeployment of forces to confront the real threat of attack here at home. Get out from under mid-east oil, seek alterative fuels. Rebuild America%u2019s reputation and good will world-wide. Confront global warming before its too late. Enough said? We can do better!

Oh please lollibop, don%u2019t EVEN start with that sad flip-flop label. Shame on John Kerry for not throwing that back at the Republican slime-machine! This administration has flip-flopped so many times its pathetic! I don%u2019t have enough space to jot all the programs and policies they%u2019ve started out on and reversed themselves (i.e. social security, 9-11 commission, port management, nation building, bi-partisan cooperation, etc.) Yet they can do no wrong and make no mistake. How pompous!

shutupwhomever, lol John Murtha? do you guys even know who is in your own party? Again liberal name-calling, they have nothing truly important to say! Why do you guys cry 24/7 about things you can not control???? Why dont you work on what you can control like getting a plan together???? Stop Bush bashing and whining about Global Warming and Wal-Mart and put together a plan!? Is that to much to ask the democratic party??? To have a plan to lead this country, am i asking to much? That, combined with the Bush bashing, dictators supporting your views, criticizing our troops, and standing up for terrorist rights is why liberals will have no chance in the upcoming elections (and John Mccain's hopes for president) except in the districts that always vote democratic. The fact is that liberal philosophy doesnt fly in mainstream America just look at the media:

Fox News #1 cables news station

Rush Limbaugh- #1 radio followed by about 15 other conservative talk shows.

Bill O'Rielly - #1 cable news show

Mchael Savage - #3 radio show in the country

#5. Laura Ingraham, #7. Sean Hannity, #10. Bill Bennett, 12. Dennis Prager, # 14. Michael Medved Show, #13. Glenn Beck

Enough of partisan posturing. The Dems are now the balanced budget party and the GOP the free spenders. Clinton was the one who came up with the idea of "regime change" in Iraq, but his Sec. of State and Defense got boo'd off the stage everywhere they went trying to sell the idea. W and all the neocons were fools to believe the US could transform the world, especially the Middle East, with the "sole superpower's military." A little history lesson from the Brits should have squashed that, but I guess Blair either didn't speak up or W didn't listen. Were it not for the "Mission Accomplished" banner on the aircraft carrier, one might believe W knew it would be a long hard fight, but neither he nor the other neocons believed that. It wasn't a hard lesson to learn, however. All they had to do was imagine the Russians occupying the US--but they couldn't do that because we "won" the Cold War.

We need to learn that democracy is like the bottle that a fine wine comes in, it is not the wine itself. Just look at the duly elected government of Palestine--Hamas. And, lessons about how to create a free and just society are best taught by example, not imposed at the point of a gun.

Every business, group, club, HOA, school has a mission statement, a direction. The democrats have been caught in game of flip flopping and chasing their tails. I don't even know what they believe. They stand for absolutely nothing.

They used to stand for the middle class, the working class now I'm not sure what they stand for except trying to regain the power the squandered to special interests.

Not quite sure lollibop where we Dems use to belong? Our party has evolved into the catch-all for any group the Republican's can't stand (and you'd think we would be the majority paty?). I think the problem we have is that we've forgotten how to win elections, motivate our base to get out the vote. I'm still dumbfounded as to how the so called moral majority managed to get to the top of the political ladder. Their morals are twisted and the majority's approach to our social issues is questionable at best.
