Democrats Take A Break From Criticizing President Bush To Defend Him
- ugh... Bush sucks out loud. Clinton sucked too but, he left alot more of us alive when he left office than lil' Georgey. If a politician opens his/her mouth, regardless of party, then they're lying. I didn't like it one bit though when Chavez called him the devil. I really feel it gives Satan a bad name.

- Dear citizens of the US:
Mr. Chavez does not represent the thinking of Venezuelans, he is a tyrant and a dictator, and he speaks for himself...certaintly the venezuelan people are not pro-yankees but definitely we are not against the people of the US, and loose cannons like Mr. Chavez and his combo do not, by all means, represent the opressed people of Venezuela, but instead a small minority that should quit, leave the administration,or be overthrown democratically - Reply to this comment
- Dear Mr. Chavez: I am a venezuelan, and I think I couldn't dislike Mr. Bush any more... deep within myself, at moments I have also thought that Bush represents Satan in earth! But for God sake, Chavez...hear me... keep that to yourself! what kind of diplomacy is this? Are you nuts or what? The UN audience is not the same people that you give speaches to in the "barrios" of Caracas! What where you thinking if you where thinking at all? You have embarrased the Venezuelan comunity with your actions and words. Many us who are living abroad, as myself, are actually scaping from your tirany and persecusion in Venezuela and owe a great deal to northamerica for providing us with freedom...You know people in Venezuela cannot be open about their political thoughts! why are you? What gives you the right to offend publicly somebody else!! Who tought you that? or Who do you think you are? Are you looking for war? Do you want our country to be sanctioned or destroyed economically... dude...give me a break!! Go to Caracas and start governing the country once and for all...leave the foreing affairs to others more capable than you...

- Nope. Have you? Do you know something about the Taliban leadership that we don't? If what we've heard and seen is correct, I don't see how it could be worse now. Personally, I think we waited too long to break up the barbaric butchers of Afghanistan.

- Think for yourself and stop seeing every little creep that our Media gives a headline to as truthsayers. The Castro soundalikes are a dime a dozen. The U N is nothing more then a groupe of nations that by themselves can't do anything, got together, and decided nothing could be done. We lower ourselves to their level by keeping our membership. The whole do nothing group would desolve without our support and money. By the way, some of you keep calling Bush a liar, "it's getting old". We all know if Clinton was not busy ducking for cover over his Whitewater/Monica scandals/lies, he could have performed job one. and protected the people of the USA. While he was busy ducking, Osama was busy planing 9/11.

- Open Mind...
Because Chavez's comments are not wrong just because he as alterior motives (what politician doesn't?), is foriegn or even a complete wacko. True is true... - Reply to this comment
- I can see how the left is upset about Iraq. It hasn't exactly been a cakewalk. But to lump Afghanistan in like the people are somehow suffering now more than they were under the Taliban is ridiculous. That's how far off the deep end the left (including the Democrats who have now been hijacked by the extreme left)has fallen.

- Annonymous1, because one ought to consider the source and what their ulterior motives really are not just if they promote your own personal resentfulness.

- Though Representative Rangel may have a point about the inappropriateness of Chavez's comments when someone is on the grounds of the United Nations in New York, he or she is on soveriegn territory and not, tecnhically speaking, under NY or US juristiction. Thus, Rangel's comment about Chavez coming to the US and insulting our Head (sic) of State is misplaced.
Pedantry aside,I couldn't agree more with Chavez. Although he was surely grandstanding for his home audience and theatricaly over the top, the last 6 years have clearly shown the decisions of the Bush Administration have global consequences. Foriegn nations pay as heavy a price for Bush's missteps as American citizens do. Mo more so than if you happen to be an Iraqi or an Afghan.
Americans and foreign nationals alike are concerned with the Bush Presidency for many of the same reasons Chavez ranted about from the podium. So why should we be offended when a non-American chooses to remind us? - Reply to this comment
- Way over ther in New York...or way over there in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma... will be right here in Hometown,USA before you know it and then we'll ALL be calmoring for a President that is brave enough to do the risky and brave things, no matter if the "United Nations-click" and their buddies agree!!!

- I am so irritated at the 'tub of goo' man who insulted all of America with his childish comments directed at our leader - who was elected by the American people. It is a great thing call democracy. He is just jealous of our country and is an evil, devil man himself. And then to add that he wanted to sell us discounted oil....NOT! He can keep his oil and keep off of American soil too. Mr. Chaves...go home and stay home!! And, why did no other countries stand up for us?? I guess they did not want to resort to his elementary school level of taunting. What a jerk! What a waste of time his speech was and what a show boat. He has had his 15 minutes of fame and needs to go home and stay there.

- Anytime someone stands up for what is right, there will be opposition & ridicule by those who have something to lose from the action or something to gain by criticizing the person standing up & daring to act in unpopular fashion. This immature example was perfectly demonstrated again by Head of State,socialist-leaning, Chavez(and in my personal opinion: dictator-wanna-be)as he makes his rounds and throws his endless jabs @ our President-elect Bush. We don't live under a dictatorship {or President-approval only system}which is proved over& over again by some of our fellow citizens, certainly the gossip-driven media and disrespectful foreign visitors in our own country, even as they say whatever they please,no-matter-the validity or to the detriment of our own country's security! Can freedom of speech go too far sometimes? How about freedom of disrespect and freedom of disregard?...Like it or not our President Bush represents the majority of Americans and is due our united respect in the United States, atleast. Wakeup!,we as a country are losing respect, because we have pushed our own boundaries of self-respect to the limit with our own love of immediate self gratification. Someone has got to watch for the wolves at our door, while we are all enjoying our little lives and it's not always a popular or fun position to be in!

- People, wake up! I stopped agreeing with Bush the day he decided to invade Iraq. I had no problem with Afganistan and certainly think his actions are devilish and wrong. The great thing about being in America is that we can disagree and voice our displeasure about our incompetent leadership!!!! We're spending billions to "save Iraq" and need to clean-up our own house before we go and screw up someone else's home.

- Can one Say that USA has been led into war for, more than 20 yrs now, by powers and interests, not necessarily acting in favour of the UNITED STATES. Advancing their own agenda.
The United Sates has been driven in order to prepare the land for others' retake and occupation dream.
Why is the USA are in Iraq? is it for the oil? Not necessarily, Iraqi oil is good, but not the only source of oil output. What if the Marines leave Iraq? Will the US run short of oil? Not really. The only option is The American Soldiers are preparing for the re-installement of the Zionist Empire in the Middle East. This is well known now.
Fighting Bear is driven by a moneky. Imagine this the Bear is USA and you who is the Monkey.
The Monkey is now protected by the Bear. Monkey is telling the Bear what to do. But the bear risks to be shot at, which is. The bear is told to lie, to hit, to destroy, to annihilate, to burn land. He cannot disobey, he's caught by the neck. If the bear is attacked and dead, then monkey will find another Bear. A bigger one by the name of Sine, Russya, Europpa...
So shall we call G. Walking-Liar Bush the Dablo or the Bear? - Reply to this comment
- Dems are spineless, they day the exact same thing about the Bush Administration everyday. Why are they suddenly so offended when someone else concurs with them.
