The Future of the Global Muslim Population (or who is benefitting from societies' acceptance of abortion?)
In Europe as a whole, the Muslim share of the population is expected to grow by nearly one-third ... 15 make up a relatively small portion of the U.S. Muslim population ...

Margaret Sanger quotes : Founder of Planned Parenthood
Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review. "Eugenics is & the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems.
As already noted, there are difficulties in regarding this flyer as racist, or at the very least, when regarding this flyer racist there are certain facts that must be considered.
One fact that has already been exposed is that a person who is racist against African-Americans would in fact wish abortion on African American infants (regardless of whether or not one agrees with the understanding of zygotes as infants, those who created the flyer do so) rather than defend these infants. A very constructive and enlightening critique of this fact is that the defense of life should not end after birth but should and ought to continue. Nevertheless, the posture in the flyer is defense of these infants in a particular moment of life and that posture in itself bespeaks of a characteristic that seems to conflict with that of a racist.
If one says it is racist literature, one must ask on what grounds this literature is rascist. The fact that it targets a specific problem within the African American community? The fact that it is pro-life? The fact that it was created primarily by a Caucasian (though African Americans were indeed involved in its creation)? The fact that it invokes the history of slavery in the US as a tool to combat what one perceives as unjust? Finally, and more importantly, one must ask what is the intent of the literature and is this intent racist?
It is from this basis which one must proceed before judging something or someone as racist. More critical thinking is required in these sort of polemical debates. We must to be thorough and fair in our analysis. We must avoid reactionary and purely emotional responses. There must be pause and there must be reflection.
There was none of this when dealing with this polemical issue. Regardless of our position, let the engagement of this polemical issue be more informed, critical and fair.
Jesus love children. He said "Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." So Jesus allows children to be born to people (no matter what the circumstances are) to bless them and a lot of people basically spit in His precious face by aborting that baby. Although some are lied to and pressured into killing their babies, most do it knowingly. They do it because the baby is an inconvenience in their life at that time. God is very grieved in His big heart over our selfishness and cruelty. Murdering approx $50 mill babies since Roe v Wade will surely bring judgment upon us. We need to repent(turn away) from this wickedness or else it'll be too late for America. Think of it: Out of $50 mil precious souls, someone might have been the next Einstein, Obama, Great Doctor that discovers a cure to AIDS...and on and on. I'm praying for our nation, but it's not looking good for us at all. I live here and I'm American, but our sins are many and horrific. Abortion is one of the worst. We killed more babies than Hitler did during WWII.
Curse 914---Rape is a horrible crime that should be punished severely, but out of wicked and evil acts God can even bring good out of those things. He is that powerful and kind. He gives beauty for ashes and a garment of praise for heaviness. God hates rape as much as other sins that violate human beings, but He allows them to happen sometimes because of our free will. Human beings choose to sin, and God honors our choices with their following consequences hoping the consequences will cause us to rethink our lives apart from His guidance. He is a good and perfect Heavenly Father.
A bit confused- why would a racist go through the trouble of printing literature trying against black abortions? Wouldn't a racist want MORE black abortions, and hence keep mum on the issue? If anything they would print literature extolling a middle class consumer lifestyle for African-Americans and how having fewer children would help with that goal. Of course Madison Ave beat them to it. Here is what happened - an anti-abortion group wanted to hit a nerve, so they tried drawing parallels between lynching, KKK etc with abortion to get attention. Looks like it worked- I guess there is no such thing as bad press.
But we live in a world of propaganda, where even the common person doesn't discuss anything in an intellectually honest way. If you don't like someone's opinion, instead of saying, I don't agree with that opinion, you say 'it damaged me psychologically' Because damaging someone wouldn't be protected by free speech, get it?
So you jump to damage arguments - it's really ludicrous. Instead of just saying here, that I disagree with the tactic these race baiters used, I have to now also state that disagree with the shrill, absurd response of the students.
Liberals are becoming more pathetic by the day.Mainstream America is sick and tired of race being invoked into every conversation and debate by people who have never dealt in fact and lose in every debate based on fact they have ever attempted to try.
right wingers have lost sight of the fact everyone wants fairness, liberty and equality, not just lip service while the right winger try to maintain their own "backwardness" just because the bible condones slavery and such doesn't make it right lol
The story never stated what race the people or person was who created the fliers. What if the person was black? Would that be racial? Why don't the extreme abortion fliers featuring white babies dismembered bring any cries of racism? Is it less offensive for white babies to be dismembered and killed? Our country and the world has gone insane.
Maybe this was inappropiate. It sounds like it. It sounds like it did catch everyones attention. Maybe the silver lining of this dark cloud will be one unborn black baby will have a mother who will reconsider killing it.
A fetus is not a baby and abortion is not murder. And there are too many people on the old rock already. Anti abortion also means anti woman and threatens their right to control thier own bodies & forces them to remain poor with unwanted children.
This article has me confused. If I were a white supremist, it would seem logical to encourage abortion among blacks. That would serve to limit the growth of the black community. On the otherhand, if I were black, I might suspect that abortion is a tool encoraged by whites to limit the growth of the black community. My question is where is the racism in these fliers? It appears that the fliers are anti-abortion and imply a genocide against blacks. If I am missing something, please correct me.
This is a common tactic. There was a group exodus, a religious group that believes homosexuality is a sin. About 150,000 people signed a petition to say they were a hate group. We tend to label people as members of hate groups, as a kind of political tactic. Actually the motivation is usually not hate - of all things the motivation is love.
Now, this speaks to the fact, that sometimes love isn't worth a darn, but - I won't bore you with my pessimism.
The reality is, the desire to protect life, is not hate. but we live in a world where people propagandize like that, if you don't agree with someone - you just don't say anything good about them at all, and must give the most simplistic, negative argument possible, like everyone, even the most common individual behave like a politician these days.
Rare for anyone to have a nuanced view.
With that said, from what I read in this article - the articles in these flier, were evoking, quite intentionally, racist imagery "klan", "lynching", and doing so as a criticism of abortions - they were also specifically tryingto communicate with black students.
However, calling it "harassment" is a step too far. The university itself, by having a black history week, black students, by having black student groups, target communications at times specifically too african americans, at times specifically about african americans - and that is not, in itself racist. Neither is teaching about the klan or lynchings mean you agree with those things - it just means it was a part of history to learn from.
No - in the end, people who disagree shrilly claim victimhood, and what they are trying to do, is shut down free speech.
And sorry, but in a free society, you will occasionally hear things you don't agree with, and you have to learn to ignore.
After reading all of the posts here I can tell who is Republican and religious and who is not. Bottom line should be, keep your minds and and hands off a woman's body. It is hers and hers alone. Good or bad, she can make the medical decisions necessary for herself and having an abortion is one of those decisions. Quit making judgments and leave your religion to yourself, I don't want it.
Isn't that the contention: when is it a human being, Nmmrng. We do not need myth to determine for a secular society what said society defines at what point a zygote becomes a human being and not another clump of cells.
@saturn, thanks for repeating old platitudes. I'm sure that helped advance the discussion. What you failed to realize, is its you who believe these things you are stating. If you could see the world from someone else's viewpoint you'd realize that the pro-life people just believe in protecting life.
It isn't a choice to kill your born child. They don't believe its a choice to kill an unborn child.
I don't agree with them, but at the same time - what point is there in endlessly repeating tired, stale viewpoints that are nothing more than propaganda.
You won't convince them of anything with your arguments - because they are completely off the mark.
