Senate Committee Finds Hussein Had No Relationship With Zarqawi
- LOL! So the Senate has perfect 20/20 hindsight, so where is the news in that??
What many people really want to forget is that the President has a responsibility to protect the people of the United States from all threats, foreign and domestic. Now put yourself in the President's shoes. You have information provided by the intelligence services that there is a chance that someone is going to do something really nasty. If it's a 100% certainty then responding is a no brainer, even a Kennedy could figure it out. Now lets cut that to a 50/50 chance, do you act or not act? 20%, 10% 5%... Where do you as president decide that the risk of acting or not acting is morally justified? If something happens that was a 2% risk, (say a Hitler wannabe gets a nuke and decides to use it in NYC) Do you accept that risk and do nothing? Be real now, you are the President, it's your watch, what is your decision? It is your responsibility if/when the jello hits the fan. Be honest, then make your judgements. - Reply to this comment
- Karl Rove is the real winner here with the systematic placement of talking points, to redirect public opinion, with half baked stories about whether or not other presidents failed us as well, and in doing so the conservative/GOP public get to relieve themselves from blame for the thousands of needless deaths in Iraq. He needs the folks that voted for Bush to stop feeling bad about having some responsibility for all the dead and injured US service men and women, and the civilian and child deaths and injuries. You all remember the term "Flip Flop" right? Now it is reverberating in the heads of all those GOP voters. See Rove made it a "sin" to change your mind. So what you have is a GOP voting public that is afraid to change their minds but need more talking points to be able to keep their justifications, for whatever policies, in reality. We have been divided, sensationalized and exploited. The great leaders are the ones who can change, like McCain for example. He has switch parties and no one got the media to repeat, "flip flopper" ten billion times because of it. Get Centered! Get Real. If we don't we'll be high on money and low on cash for the rest of our lives. Remember this: The days are long but the weeks are fast. So the next time cursory leaders want to take power in the United States, I'm not going to let them use up a tenth of my life doing it.

- But fryken, I got better things to do than waste anymore time talking to a mental midget like you. As for the rest of the obviously educated people on here, I tip my cap to you. It's great to see that people are putting these morons in there place. Best of luck in November.

- Hey fryken, since you think Bush and the rest of the Republicans are right, then why don't you stop wasting time talking to people who are obviously your educated superiors and hop the next plane to Iraq? Get your *** shot off and send a kid who doesn't support this war home. You think this war is worth fighting then you and the rest of the ignorant Bush supports go fight it. Believe me, if you don't come home your ignorance won't be missed.

- Davejp3, Take your own advice, educate yourself. Maybe we should hold you partially responsible. Are you done running in circles yelling "hit him again" "It wasn't me!", I guess not since that's all Demos. can do with out help. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! Just like Clinton, It's all about me!

- Hey Ronnie, can you find Bagdad on a map? Way to go everybody, hopefully this mental midget is actually learning something from the educated people of this country.

- Nikosk1 & Agnim, Well put, unfortunatly you both refuse to see the truth, or except it. RonnieHM is right and you Clintonites , like usual can't see beyond your own noses. All the planning for terrorist activities happened during the Clintonography. This peace you speak of was an illusion concocted by Billy and his spin masters. you may wish to believe these things happened over night , but, like Clinton, your as naive as a new born and as irresponsable as drug addict. One more time for you simps, Bin Laden was handed to Clinton for the taking, but he couldn't be bothered he was too concerned about his own image. Do your home work!! This is like talking to a child having a tantrum, won't listen, refuses to do home work & won't except responsability. You may think my brains are fried, but atleast I have enough sense to have information before I spew retoric. I can very easly go into dates of events but I fear you would want to then blame Nixon. Your facts are flawed because all you want to do is regurgitate what you heard on the news. If you wish to debate an issue ,DO YOUR HOME WORK, you know I'm right. Need any more salt in the wound?

- Actually, Clinton had a system where the intelligence departments went into some sort of emergency mode whenever the terrorist chatter ramped up. The heads of all of the intelligence offices were brought into a situation room and their agencies were put on alert. This practice was why the planned terrorist attack on LAX was thwarted.
This system apparently would have stopped the 911 terror attacks also. - Reply to this comment
- Hey Ronnie, the fact that you would cling to such a pathetic and thin arguement that 9/11 happened because of Clinton, just goes to show the lack of intelligence you have. It's people like you with your way of thinking and your support for this administartion that has made this country hated. I really truly pity people as ignorant as you, rather than listen to ridiculous right wing garbage why don't you take the time to educate yourself? Your only hurting yourself, this country, this world, and future generation with your ignorance.

- OK, Ronnie, pal, here ya go. In 1998 Clinton ordered missle strikes against Bin Laden in Pakistan. Immediately the Repugnicans launched a PR campaign, saying he was trying to create a diversion from the Lewinsky affair...Remember "Wag the Dog?"
Republicans in Congress also thwarted his attempt to get an anti-terrorism bill passed. Look it up, pal. - Reply to this comment
- There was no terrorism under Clinton's watch? Oh.
What were the first attack on the World Trade Center, the Oklahoma City bombing, the suicide bombing of American soldiers in Saudi Arabia, the other suicide bombing of American soldiers in Saudi Arabia, the bombing of the US embassies in Africa in 1998, the USS Cole?
What were those? If they're not part of Clinton's legacy, then how can 9/11 be part of Bush's legacy? What did Bush do in his first 8 months to make 9/11 his fault? What did Clinton do differently? - Reply to this comment
- Hey, Ronnie, for shame.
Clinton has been gone for almost a decade now.
However the main maniac muslims continue to make worse bush's lousy 911 legacy by repeatedly taunting bush from the bushes of Pakistan.
What did Clinton do about terrorism you ask? "Terrorism" wasn't 'created' then.
"Terrorism" is creation of the present administration; and by the look of things, our beloved president is creating even more terrorists via the crucible of Iraq, just as his dad did before him. - Reply to this comment
- By the way, I think 63% of Americans can't find Baghdad on a map, so that should tell you something about how much your approval rating is worth.
- Reply to this comment
- Approval rating? What does that have to do with anything? You can't vote on facts. They're facts. Clinton did NOTHING to fight terrorism. Who cares if people approve of that?

- The first attack on the World Trade Center happened on Clinton's "watch." The second attack was planned during Clinton's "watch." Flight training was received during Clinton's "watch." Osama bin Laden was in our sights during Clinton's "watch." The hijackers entered the country during Clinton's "watch." What the heII was Clinton WATCHING? I can understand a president not being able to discover and prevent 9/11 in 8 months, but 8 YEARS? Did Bill even lift his head above the desk and ask what's going on in the world? Argue all you want that Bush did the wrong thing, but you can't deny that he's trying to fight terrorism and Clinton didn't do a d@mn thing. Name ONE THING Bill Clinton did to fight terrorism.

- Saddam hussain is Anti religion and Al qaeda is extremist religious group.Saddam hussain was only good with Iraqi catholics because he knew that in a muslim country nobody would like to see a catholic being president. He killed those Iraqis who wanted to establish a radical islamic state.Saddam Hussain has been removed from power by US effort and those extremist shias were brought into power on the name of democracy who are taking the American Tax payer's money on the name of rebuilding,to form an extremist state based on the hatred of west. Now all the elected Prime Ministers of Iraq'll practically be the Governor's from Iran.

- Agnim, what makes the source for bin Laden's current whereabouts more reliable than the source that told us al Qaeda received training in Iraq? You got a system for knowing which terrorists to believe and which ones are lying? Or should we just roll the dice and hope we pick the right one?

- Fryken, your brains are fried, guy. LOL
The 3000 Americans of 911 perished on bush's watch!
That 911 day of infamy is the legacy of president of the time.
And no matter how much we try to pass the buck and delude ourselves that the previous administration was responsible, and no matter how many more Americans we sacrifice in hopeless causes, and no matter how many tens of thousands of innocent women and children we rain bombs on in Iraq, those pointless and destructive acts will never ever ever erase the fact that 911 is bush's legacy.
That legacy is only made worse when we thrash wildly about and kill, kill, kill while insane islamists in Pakistan taunt, taunt, taunt! - Reply to this comment
- 'No proof of al qaeda-Sadam link' you say?
Why not tell us something the vast majority of Americans didn't know or should have known before the raining of bombs on the women and children of Iraq, and the wasting of so many more young American lives?
What is also known or should have known by most Americans is where the main maniac muslims allegedly responsible for 911 are taking leisurely strolls and mocking a seemingly inept leadership: In the cool mountains of Pakistan thy are.
The double agent Pakistanis who should know have always admitted as much.
Maybe the plan is to create fire in Iraq, and those responsible for 911 will surrender in Pakistan. Tsk Tsk - Reply to this comment
