and science is a wonderfull thing, however after 70 or so years you still die...Further science has been unable to explain spiritual things such as feelings of love, hatred, despair, happiness etc...these are concepts of the human spirit and soul. The first Church stated by James (also the author of Revelation) was not based on religion (as we know it today) but was based on the Gospel of Christ. Religion per se' was doctrine incorporated by churches (i.e. Baptist, Catholic, Methodist ect) based on thier interpretation of Scritpture. The First Church however was based on Christ's sacrificial redemption on the cross and His glorious ressurection. When God choses the time for you to go it makes no difference how much money you spend or how hard you fight to let go, however I disagree with you about the heart of true believers. Millions who go to church will be in Hell because they played church or had religion and not authenic belief in Christ, thus their of death would be justified.
