If there was a god, and he was truly all loving and peaceful, he wouldn't make EVERYONE suffer for the "sin" of one man.

- Just like us God know a day is a day and God knows a 1000 years.
The equation of the simile is the words are meat to get you focused on Gods view in relation to the time you have to make the choice to follow him. - Actually the Bible doesn't say how long it took for creation. It just says that in the beginning the heavens and the earth were created. Billions of years untold. It's the fundies who get into 6 literal days of creation.
