All in all Islam seems a hell of a lot saner than Christianity

What exactly is ''sane'' about decapitating an innocent man in the name of your god?

Oh Yeah. That makes me want to support the Taliban. I really do support the Taliban, NOT! I support the entire eradication of the Taliban and the Wahhabi support for this terrorist organization, supported and armed by Saudi oil money.

The USA should withdraw its military umbrella of this rag tag nation supporting international terrorism, even in the US, and let the cards fall where they may.

Yeah, sure, screw the economy and our own infrastructure. Who needs them.

It is that kind of arrogant wrong-headed protectionist head-in-the-dirt mentality that brought down the Twin Towers.

This is not the first time America has been in recession but it is the first time Pakistan has had nuclear capability

The unquestionable fact of the matter, Displeased, is that radical Islam is a BIG threat to peace, stability, tolerance, diversity, and secularism throughout the world.

I agree. I have no problem weeding out terrorists. I just get annoyed when one religious group bashes another, when I think they''re all screwed up. That''s why I jumped on RichardJ390''s case but I have a better understanding on his views now, not that I entirely agree with them, but I understand. Got to get some food now. You all have a good night.

The unquestionable fact of the matter, Displeased, is that radical Islam is a BIG threat to peace, stability, tolerance, diversity, and secularism throughout the world. The tenets of radical Islam hardly rise to the level of a "religion," and instead exemplify stone age, barbaric, millenia-old, tribal habits and mores that originated in the deserts of the Empty Quarter in the Arabian Pensinsula. Seeing as the Saudis have totally failed to stop, and indeed have encouraged, the spread of radical Wahibism throughout the Islamic world, we in the West really have no choice but to find Wahabism''s violent adherents and KILL THEM. Bush tried to do this but largely failed because of his poorly thought out and even more poorly executed policies. We also need to lean on Saudi Arabia BIG TIME to get them to rein in the many intolerant Wahabi radicals within their borders. Bush never tried to do this. Obama will better Bush on both scores. Wait and see. Bush is not a hard act to follow.

Displeased, with all due respect, are you actually ignorant, or are you just yanking our chains?

Not all Muslims are terrorists. But almost all terrorists are Muslims.

And, yes, there is a small amount of non-Muslim terrorism, of course. There are still corners of the world where terror occurs, where Muslims are not involved. South America, for instance.

I sense you''re just trying to tie up my cycles and waste my time, because if you actually read the news, you would already know the answers to all your hypothetical "questions", re Mexico, Russia, etc.

I am not here to educate you. I assure you, Google will allow YOU to do research just as well as me. Thus, I%u2019m not debating you further.

I vote to send you to all these primitive countries so you can talk them into being peaceful and civilized.
Just be sure to bring a sack with you, so you''''ll have something to carry your head in.

No thanks. Religious nutcases aren''t logical. And we have our own forms of terror to look out for.

That is because I know some things you don%u2019t know. Such as how Muslims killed over 300 Russians in Beslan, in the name of Islam. Go Google %u201CBeslan%u201D. It was only a few years ago. Such as how Muslims have killed hundreds of Catholics in the Philippines.

Countries have different terrorists. Is the bloodbath down in Mexico related to Islam? How about South America, IRA in Ireland? Those dammn muslims must be everywhere.

To get an idea what the global community is dealing with, go to above URL.

This is just the last 2 months of attacks from radical Islam.

The list would go on forever if you wanted to see the last 30 years.

Yes and those creeps are in jail, while Muslim bombers are heros in their countries.
Posted by jbrown88881

Are they heroes? Or are they just heroes to the fanatics the media displays? And there is a difference here in the states. We have separation of religion and state. Until the middle east separates theirs, they will remain behind times.

Increased? I thought they''''ve been pretty consistent since 2002. Hasn''''t there been about 10,000 terrorist attacks in Iraq since we''''ve invaded?

lhwrr, you are speaking of Eric Rudolph. He was crazy and very anti-abortion. He was a fanatic. He killed a total of 2 people TWO.
Yes folks, I just spelled the word %u201Ctwo%u201D.

I''ve witnessed worse car accidents.

I can send you stats showing over a million murders by Muslims it the last 10 years globally.

You send me a fanatic who killed two?

Is that the best you can do, or are you next going to discuss the thousand-year-old Crusades?

Pretty pathetic idea of debating you have here, sir. Very sad.

I agree these middle east countries are about 300 years behind the times with their barbaric laws. It was about 300 years ago when the catholics would torture people to death for disagreeing with the bible (remember Galileo?). Although this violence has an islamic base, I think there are other reasons for the violence other than spreading islam. Such as western presence in the middle east and our support for Israel. If they were killing folks in the name of or spreading islam, how come they aren''''t beheading Russians or Chinese or Mexicans? There must be political motives.

This guy was Polish. Haven''t you heard exerpts of the preachings by their inmans or clerics? They''re trying to fight us of as they take over helpless countries in Africa and where ever else they can get a foothold, like Pakistan which has nuclear weapons. I believe people like Bin Laden and others ARE trying to start a war between the religions or non-believers as they call us. My probelem is why isn''t the moderates that aren''t trying to take ove countries don''t march or show that they aren''t unified with these extremists.

Displeased, actually I''m agnostic and not religious at all.
But, I apparently do something you don%u2019t do: I read the news. I research, I know my stuff. And apparently you don%u2019t, because when you say things such as %u201C..If they were killing folks in the name of or spreading islam, how come they aren%u2019t beheading Russians or Chinese or Mexicans?%u201D I and a thousand other people just fell out of our chairs laughing.
Such as how Muslims have targeted Chinese for death in western China. Such as how they have killed over 70,000 Muslims in Algeria for not being %u201Cstrict%u201D Muslims. The list extends to over 50 countries where Muslims have killed in the name of their religion.
If you want to believe that it is all %u201Cpolitical%u201D, you go right ahead. Bury your head in the sand, wallow in your ignorance. I learned a long time ago that enlightening Muslim apologists was a lesson in futility.

RichardJ390, did you forget the bombings at the Atlanta Olympics and the snipping and bombings against Birth Control Clinics? These terrorist events were done in the name of "Christianity"
