You can not possibly be that ignorant to think that the US invaded Afghanistan for oil. Afghanistan actually imports oil. Also NATO was not part of the invasion of Afghanistan. They came in much later when the country was in US control.

These poor suicide bombers must lead miserable lives to feel that their only recourse against the people destroying their lives is a suicide attack. The US in their greed in exploiting other countries is making the lives of millions a misery.

To see the Neo-Coms rejoicing in the misery of these people is really pathetic.

Yeah,they were laying around the pool drinking cool drinks before we came along. Iraq you could make a claim to unjust invasion. Afhganistan is a differnt situation. You have a KNOWN nuclear capable unstable country next door with the same religious group in both countries trying to gain power. They are not stupid, losers or crazy. They believe their religiuos leaders as much as Christians believe their ministers here. They live and believe something that is foreign to westerners, but not unprecedented. The Japanese had similar beliefs during WWII, and it took 2 nuclear bombs and total occupation to stop that threat.

Other than oil, the world is still not clear what justification the United States and NATO has in invading Afghanistan. By definition, the new term disproportional use of violence means that the United States could have been guilty of applying disproportional use of violence in attacking Afghanistan.
