Comments on: Saudi Arabia Not Liable In 9/11 Attacks
Court Cites Immunity Even If Kingdom Was Aware Of Donations Being Funneled To Al Qaeda
- The 911 tragedy was done by Bin Laden in retaliation for US activities in Afghanistan trying to topple the Taliban for the Caspian Sea Pipelines project.
The Bush family took out Saddam for the Saudis. Saddam was the Saudis enemy and competition in the world oil market. - Reply to this comment

- Well what did you expect? Bush let them out of the country when all other flights were grounded, and despite almost all of the hijackers being Saudis he didnt even criticize this middle-east country. Just goes to show, if you are his mate (and business buddy), you can get away with murder. Literally.

- They should have delayed filing this lawsuit until after the Smirkinator was out of office. Then maybe they would have stood a chance.

- More evidence of the politicization of the Judiciary under the Cheney/Bush regime.
The Saudi royal family and the Bushes enjoy a long and close relationship that dates back to the 1920s, when the oil fields were first discovered in the ME.
Naturally, the Bushes are going to do everything (and have done so, so far) to protect their friends from any responsibility in the deaths of some 3,000-plus people. Isn''t that the Bush family mantra -- shift responsibility to someone else, when denial fails?
I mean, afterall, what''s more important here -- assessing and advocating the truth, or protecting your buddies from blame? - Reply to this comment
- This leave no doubt that the Bush Administration supports terrorism.

- I think the King of Saudi Arabia and the princes should reconsider NOT making some sort of payment.
The money is less THAN a drop in the bucket to them!
They don''t need the money.
But, the vast majority of the terrorists were Saudis.
Most Americans are aware or will become aware of this over time!
Some day Saudis will not be welcome in this country anymore due to WTC etcetera. By paying, it would show the King and his princes HAVE a sense of honor, especially since a U.S. court ruled they didn''t have to! I''d strongly advise them to make a payment.
To act like royalty! - Reply to this comment
- Now who would sue Saudi Arabia? According to Bush, they are our friends, Bush even walked around holding the Kings hand. (Even though Saudi Arabia puts out more Muslim propaganda than any other Middle East country and 19 of the hijackers came from Saudi Arabia). Come on now, Bush is never wrong.
