Troops Reportedly Arm Local Cops Before Bailing On Remote Outpost, Then Cops Flee Militants
- And the neocons want to kill all the terrorists---well looks like we need more troops---pick your military preference, put on a uniform and get yourself a rifle--you want them all dead? Get out there!
If you''re going to talk the talk, then walk the walk, this isn''t a war movie you''re watching--its real, and our troops are our families and if you don''t have the guts to get out there and help them, then you''re all a bunch of blow hard cowards!! - Reply to this comment

Thank you, nice post.
And in 2008. a far right conservative goes about trying to win an election like this:
Select a candidate that has a long well documented historical involvement of getting us into the mess we''re in now. The devil you know is better than the devil you don''t know, I guess is the thinking here.
Lie about that history.
Lie about how that history has led to the present.
Lie about the reality that it is a mess.
Lie about how the direction of that history and the present takes us into the future.
Lie about the reality that the current conservative candidate is deeply connected to the current President. Or not, depends on which flip or flop you wanna believe. Oh yea, and remain convinced that "belief" is a matter of choice. The truth, the data, and the facts have nothing to do with it.
Go for the intellectually lazy voters who deeply yearn for a "leader" who will do their thinking for them. That way they never have to go to the exertion of thinking for themselves.
Demonize the opposition, especially those with a different skin color.
So much more, but time and space doesn''t allow. So finally.
When nothing else seems to work - have the supreme court appoint him President. - Reply to this comment
- We let them take the base so we can go back and forth just like Vietnam. We bomb the same targets over 6 times.

- hadenough43 - in 2008, a far left liberal goes about trying to win an election like this:
Select a totally unknown - doesn''t matter if he/she/it is any good, just unknown.
Pick at every point the current President has which has not panned out to perfection. It doesn''t matter if he warned the public that it wouldn''t, or that it would take a long time and lots of money.
Lie about the past.
Lie about the present.
Lie about the future.
Pretend the opposition is connected to the current President.
Present no stable platform, but use polls instead.
Go for the ignorant voters, and those too young to have a memory of this same BS move that was tried last time.
play the race card as often as possible - even though 9/10ths of the NAACP''s goals could be reached if only the black community would work on having a TWO parent family. (preferably NOT of the same ***.)
Lie and spin some more.

- In 800 BC, to capture the enemy the king used to operate like this:
abandon the base and wait until the enemy move in and then surround them with the army and fire arrows to capture them all. So this is an opportunity for NATO to capture them all.

In the 2001 AD, to defeat the enemy, the king operates like this:
When attacked by a vicious enemy, he goes after an oil colony to make himself, his family, and his buddies richer. - Reply to this comment
