Canadian Detainee, Arrested At Age 15, Weeps, Shows Wounds In Clips Released By Lawyers
- To all the people posting on here, calling Khadir a terrorist, saying this type of torture ''''serves him right'''' or even calling for his execution; I am wondering where in the article you read that he has had a trial or been judged by any one other than his interrogators.

Funny thing is when I read this article there is no mention of torture or harsh interrogation. Get over it LIB, a 15 year old Canadian in Afghanistan injured during a firefight with militants. NUFF SAID! - Reply to this comment

What faith do you believe in ?
Or are you an Atheist who believes America should be free from all religion, instead of freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof ? - Reply to this comment
- ===US policy should be something these camelhumpers can understand.....which is; for every American they kill (home or abroad) we will kill 1,000 of there people.===

Real American''s know that''s the ONLY policy they understand.....guess who hasn''t attacked the U.S. since 9/11....they got the message, and prefer targeting wimpy socialist countries, such as Spain - Reply to this comment

............
Actually a lot of us would aspire to have your health care system.

I would disagree with dinkydog1. Only uninformed Americans would aspire to have Healthcare by .GOV. Ask the canadians if they enjoy waiting 6 months for a surgery.

Funny thing is when I read the article; it said he has been ACCUSED of throwing a grenade and killing and Iraqi soldier. I suppose we need to rewrite the constitution to say all darker skinned people with funny names are GUILTY until proven INNOCENT, huh? "

Khadir is no different then a spy captured in any war. He was fighting for a foriegn country without an uniform and has no rights under our constitution. He does have the right to be detained and should be happy that he was only wounded during the firefight. - Reply to this comment
- The Nazis had similar rules. For every Nazi killed, they kill 100 people. Wow, congrats. You topped even a Nazi in cruelty.

I''m all for it.
Lets see, Hmmm, the kid was seriously wounded in a middle of a fire fight found in the blown up building where many militants were killed and wounded during a firefight. Being 15 makes him plenty old enough to know how to shoot and throw hand grenades. Perhaps the proper thing to have done was to let him die of his wounds and let him bethe martyr he so wanted to be. No wonder he hides his eyes now, he failed martyrdom. - Reply to this comment
- susan10001 , as an American, I''''ll kindly ask you to be quiet until that day when one of your large cities (how about Montreal? Toronto? YOU get to pick!) suffers 3000 people murdered and has it''''s largest structures destroyed as well. Until that day occurs, mind your own business. We are NOT Canada and do NOT aspire to be.

- To all of you Captain America types who believe that the ends justify the means no matter what: the treatment this child is being subjected to is both morally wrong no matter what his combatant status and is and expressly illegal under a large number of treaties and is illegal under both US civilian and military law. You fools do not see that this lawless behavior threatens both your moral authority as a people and the foundation of your own freedom.

What treaties have been violated by detaining a willing combatant? I remember from my grade school history classes that people that commit treason have the right to be taken out in to the street and hung or shot. That would be the morally correct thing to do. - Reply to this comment

- You can bet that all the rugged he-men types like ********* and CiitzenUSA would fold like a house of cards in this young man''''s place. Hell, they wouldn''''t even stand getting questioned by Mall Police.

- If this "kid " is let go, he will return to his native land a hero and be somewhat of a poster child for the jihad loyalists. If he stays in Gitmo, he becomes the Nelson Mandela of his people. Either way, the outcome will be the same. Terrorists will still be terrorists, they will still hate America and we will constantly have to guard against that threat to our country.

- What happened to the story of the "American" Muslim Sgt Asan Akbar who killed and wounded several Americans with grenades????

- scoleridge, sure it does.
And it makes a Liberal Democrat feel like a big man to treat Jihadist murderers the same as a pre-adolescent American kid accused of shoplifting candy.
