Al Qaeda wasn''t IN Iraq until Bush "liberated" the terrorists and the insurgents from Saddam Hussein.
Saddam Hussein ALSO kept Iran in check, and now that influence has been removed, Iran is a regional superpower, and is NOW turning into a nuclear regime.
al Qaeda has also been in Pakistan and Afghanistan''s mountainous region, since they were fighting the soviets - from their point of view, NOTHING has changed.
All this "success" has done, is strained and broken our military, while allowing the terrorists to re-arm, re-group, and re-plan, depleted our national treasury, boosted the chances that we''re going to be attacked, while allowing those that attacked us to get away.
