Bush was awake during his visit with the kiddies during 9/11, the only reason why he sat there for so long that he was waiting his turn to read from "See spot Run". That''s exactly what he did was run and hide in a bunker and tell the american people from his undisclosed location " Don''t worry folks, just go about your business as though nothing has happened.
