Well, of course not silly. The Founders all came from the Middle East. They were Ragheads just like you.

liberalbias1:
Okay, Patrick Henry said one thing, and THAT IS THE ONLY THING ANYONE EVER SAID IN HISTORY ABOUT EVERY SINGLE FOUNDING FATHER, INCLUDING THE FOUNDERS THEMSELVES.
Unfortunately for propagandist/revisionists like liberalbias1, many of them took the time to write publicly, in books, newspapers, pamphlets, and also personal letters and diaries that have been published or donated to libraries, etc.
The founding fathers were, for the most part, members of the unofficial, basically Christian group of thinkers known as Deists. (Which i may be mispelling.)
The Deists accepted that there was a God.
After that, to call them ''Christians'', especially in the sense of the word as it is understood in 2008, is simply ridiculous.
I''ll give one example: Deist deny Immaculate Conception. How many pastors in liberalbias1''s church deny this as well?
Okay, more: Article 6, section 3 "...but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust..."
Also, the First Amendment.
I realize that persons with limited reasoning capacity can''t cope with the idea that our Constitution specifically commmands us to keep church affairs separate from state affairs, because it doesn''t say the magic words ''separation of church and state'', but that is what it means.
PS- Patrick Henry was a politician, and as such he NEVER lied, stretched the truth, exaggerated...and he never, ever SAID WHAT THAT PARTICULAR AUDIENCE WANTED TO HEAR!

The USS Constitution, USS Constellation, USS Philadelphia, USS Chesapeake, USS Argus, USS Syren and USS Intrepid all saw action.

In 1805, American Marines marched across the desert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves.

During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines, finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy.

Jefferson''s victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, We fight our country''s battles in the air, on land and sea."

It wasn''t until 1815 that the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates.

Jefferson had been right. The "medium of war" was the only way to put and end to the Muslim problem. Mr. Ellison was right about Jefferson. He was a "visionary" wise enough to read and learn about the enemy from their own Muslim book of jihad.

Even then we had to deal with the Jihadies.

Grabbing at straws, Witless. All state Constitutions make reference to God as does the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution. Sorry.
