In Response To Online Questions, Al-Zawahiri Says Terrorist Organization Doesn't Kill Innocents
- AJMarine1,,,, The generals on the commitee last night were saying it will more likely be a tough Iraqi general taking charge instead of Sadar. Will there be violence ? Yes, but more if we stay.

What they outta do is elect Sadr PM, re-name Shia run areas the "New Iran", let the Kurds have a home land and increase the size of Saudi Arab to take in the Sunnis and get ready to pay whatever Iran wants to charge for oil.
When Maliki lost face in Basra, he made Sadr the main power in Iraq and Iran will be the big winner. - Reply to this comment
- knayil,,,, Iraqi''s are a proud people, it has to be their war, we''ve got business elsewhere we are not attending to in the War on Terror ----- Al Queda will likely follow us.

- knayil,,,,, You are right it''s not a give up situation & it''s more of a lose if we stay situation -- There are growing insurgencies & growing public support in Iraq against the occupation forces on all sides including Turkmen & Sufi

- AJMarine1,,,, I was watching the Senate Foreign Relations Commitee last night, there are no good options in Iraq & we are going to have to start drawing down forces & force the Iraqi government to take over.

- Prinzowhales: Before the invasion, they had a stable government (ruthless, but stable) with security throughout the country. Now they have militias and groups fighting for power. We have terror groups there not only fighting us, but Iraqi''s. Iraq has no real central control or security without coalition forces. But I''m sure you''re right we can leave right now and everything would return to normal in Iraq. No more bombings, or fighting. No more killings because of which sect you might belong to. Everyone would be happy and care free. Hell I bet they all go skipping down the street singing and holding hands. But back here in the real world that isn''t what is going to happen. Sorry, you can believe your fairy tale if you want to but that''s not what will happen. Perhaps you should actually talk to people over there instead of relying on what CBS tells you. Let them tell you, yea they don''t want us there but they will also tell you that right now they need us there. If we leave before the Iraqi government has control over all of Iraq then a lot more innocent people will die. I would even bet you it will dwarf the number already dead from this war. I would rather the US fix this mess we created than walk away from our mistakes and leave those people to suffer. But then I''ve actually been there and shared food with them, played soccer with their kids and brought supplies to families. I''d rather we give them what we touted we were bringing when we went in than just give up.

- I find this online questioning quite entertaining. We can now e-mail questions to those who are trying to kill us, & the government isn''t using an IP tracer.... but no matter, lets just ask them questions for the hell of it!
