speakinup,

Re: "...so I have to wonder if these ten were more plants by President Bush..."

First off, this was a government sting, so it involved maybe a few government operatives and maybe a few dupes that had no possibility of ever staging an attack on their own. Hence, there was never any threat at all, from what we can tell.

Secondly, as the article clearly states, there are only 3 people being held on suspicion of planning attacks.

Since you reading comprehension skills are apparently so abysmal, there is not much point in trying to discuss this with you, in a text format, now is there?

The Madrid bombings, like the attacks in the US and in London were inside jobs.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/march2006/110306Madrid.htm

In the ''93 attack on the WTC, the FBI''s agent provocateur inside the plot was refused permission by his FBI controller to replace the bomb with a "harmless powder". The FBI cooked the bomb, provided the detonator and trained the driver...then, they tried to betray and prosecute their informant but he had been smart enough to tape his FBI handler and was paid a cool million instead of going to jail...The FBI terrorists murdered 6 Americans in 1993...none went to jail....

gee feelfree - did runningralph get under your skin a little ?

Yeah - so I have to wonder if these ten were more plants by President Bush (like prinzowhales would like us to all believe - I''m refering to him insisting Bush planted terrorists into planes that then took down the twin towers - or some such story).

Oh no, don''t tell me you believe this is a hoax, feel free. Are you fugging stupid, or just a terrorist sympathizer ?

runningdipshit,

"Madrid Bombings "Mastermind" Acquitted"

and

"Spanish Terror Sting Foils Planned Attack"

There was no attack. This was a government sting, with a few government operatives, and a handful of dupes that lacked the resources or ability to do anything.

Re: "And the Spanish police say this new bunch were conspiring to attack again. Why? Do you Know?"

I would guess that they would allegedly make this claim to add credibility to this non-threat, and to frighten morons.

Why else?

feelfree1,
In my original post I asked why the jihadists would attack Spain. I never thought you might attack Spain. And the jihadists indeed did attack Spain and the attackers were tried and sentenced in the Spanish court. And the Spanish police say this new bunch were conspiring to attack again. Why? Do you Know? You seem to have inside information.

I wonder if these Spanish terrorists were anything like the gaggle of FBI-instigated morons living in a warehouse in Miami who were accused of planning to blow-up the Sears Tower...$50,000 of YOUR tax dollars were given to these pseudo-Christians to declare their affiliation with al Qaeda.

runningralph,

Re: "Again you get feisty without answering the question. Why attack Spain? Of course you don''t have to answer, but if you don''t answer why reply at all?"

I have already answered you. You must be even dumber than I had estimated, and that is really saying something.

I am not attacking Spain, nor is anyone else. This was a government run sting operation, which did not, and never would have amounted to anything, and with a scope that is shrinking by the day.

Get it? Was no attack, hence there is no reason for/against one.

feelfree1,
Again you get feisty without answering the question. Why attack Spain? Of course you don''t have to answer, but if you don''t answer why reply at all? It seems as if your hatred prevents you from thinking clearly. Anyway why did they attack Spain? I don''t get it.

That should read, the "failed" tactics of the US.

Did the Spanish get their information from the 800,000 names of the US FBI terror watch list? Or perhaps from all the illegal wiretapping Bush has conducted on the citizens of the US? NO?
The Spanish probably had their own resources and weren''t reduced to the tactics of the US.

runningralph,

Re: "Do the jihadists plan on taking over Spain? Otherwise, why attack Spain?"

As I have pointed out, this non-threat looks like just more junk-food for fools.

Bon appetite''!

Do some Muslims look at Spain the same way others look at Israel? Both were places that were at one time under Islamic rule. Both were taken from Islam against their will. Do the jihadists plan on taking over Spain? Otherwise, why attack Spain?

We see that there is another article referenced with this one, called "Madrid Bombings "Mastermind" Acquitted".

What this means, CBS, is that he probably was not the "mastermind" of anything, and that the claims against him were garbage, just as we will most likely find out about this story.

Re: "The judge said that of the 10 people he is ordering kept in custody, three were planning to stage a suicide attack. The role of the others was not clear."

Then how does CBS know that the "others" are suspected of anything?

Re: "The government has said that police seized bomb-making materials and timers in raids on five homes Saturday and that the attack was in an advanced stage of preparation."

So we have 3 suspects and 5 homes. Does CBS need some math help? I think I can C even more BS here.

Re: "Spanish Terror Sting Foils Planned Attack"

Described here as a "sting".

What this means is that some government operatives most likely gathered up a few dupes who never had the resources or ability to do anything on their own, and consequently, were not a threat to anyone- just as we have seen in most, if not all of the "terror" prosecutions in the U.S.

I figured that this story was little more than a bad joke, but they got the headline out about this alleged "TERRA CELL", and that is all that really matters to the fascists.

Re: "Spanish authorities have said of the original 14, 12 were Pakistanis and two Indians but it was not known Wednesday night which four have been released nor the nationality of those sent to jail."

"The judge said that of the 10 people he is ordering kept in custody, three were planning to stage a suicide attack. The role of the others was not clear."

14 people originally accused, four already released, and only 3 of the remaining are alleged to have been planning an attack.

This case appears to be falling apart at a rapid rate. If there was any attack planned at all, chances are that it was orchestrated by the 3 being accused, and that these three were operatives of some government, who rounded up some dupes to make this alleged attack seem more believable.
