- Tapes are routinely destroyed in the CIA. Its a big fat furnace. Its called "destruction of sensitive material". Ya wanna go some place where they keep all their tapes? Got to the porn sector. They keep them back far enough all the way to 1952.

- This shouldn''t surprise anyone, this renegade administration is on a scordhed earth mission regarding the constitution of this country. We are winessing the flagrant dismantling of our government by these looters and pillagers. Not since the days of WWII have I witnessed so much flagrant disregard for law and order. We seem to be helplessly watching the deliberate destruction of our nation. We may not have anything that remotely resembles our old system of government by the time these jackals are done.

Thanks, that''s excellent. I think it sums up fairly what the Bush administration have done and it is not a good picture to see. The wheels on our system of government for years now have gone wobbly. The principle of checks and balances is out of kilter. This happened when all three branches of government came under control by the same ideology. We''ve had a good 200-year run and the times have changed anyway. Even societies and civilizations are creatures of Darwininan evolution. - Reply to this comment
