Agreed. Beyond that, how can we really ask Iran to stop developing nuclear weapons, when we have treated North Korea so graciously. Clearly the Bush adminstration sees nuclear weapons as a deterrent to invasion-- the get out of invasion free card you might say. So why wouldn''t Iran want to keep developing nukes. - Reply to this comment
- Hungry, actually several of the candidates, for good or bad, have said basically the same thing.
Only the second and third tier candidates think their rhetorical skills are so wonderful that they can talk the Iranians into not supporting Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iraqi Shias.

Bush saying that he won''t go to the table to talk to Iran, until they suspend their nuclear program(s).
