Re: "Can you name any leaders who are calling for this extermination Muslims, other than nut jobs on sites like this?"
The illegitimate Bushco butchers are responsible for the slaughter of an estimated 1 million Iraqis according to the best available estimate, and the maiming, torture, rape, and wrongful imprisonment of who knows how many more. The Bush regime has slaughtered and tortured thousands more Moslems in Afghanistan.
The Israelis regularly slaughter Muslims in Palestine and also in Lebanon.
Why do you see it as important for them to actually call for the extermination of a group that they are already successfully slaughtering?
Both the Bush puppet and the Israeli extremists have called for a war against "Islamofascism". Since this term is nonsensical, but creates an environment of fear and hatred against all Moslems, this is effectively a call to exterminate all Moslems, though a craven and sneaky one.- Reply to this comment

But then in 2000, well before his arrest, something happened which would make Abas question everything he believed in: a fatwa, a religious edict, was issued by Osama bin Laden.
"It should be understood that killing Americans and Jews anywhere found are the highest act of worship and the highest form of good deeds in the eyes of Allah," Simon quotes bin Laden.
Abas and his fellow commanders were ordered to read the fatwa to their men and make sure they carried it out. The others obeyed, but Abas refused. It was his moment of truth. He firmly believed that jihad was to be fought only on the battlefield in defense of Islam; he had always been taught that the killing of civilians had nothing to do with holy war and that it was forbidden.
The fatwa justified killing non-Muslim civilians everywhere.

- Hey, if our fighting the terrorists in Iraq is keeping them there, how come they keep popping up all over Europe?
Do you suppose the real reason they are in Europe but they aren''t here in such numbers is better entry control - or to put it more realistically, simply because we are blessed with the presence of an ocean between the Americas and the Middle East? - Reply to this comment

By blaming the Government for our actions, those who pushed this "Blair''s bombs" line did our propaganda work for us.
More important, they also helped to draw away any critical examination from the real engine of our violence: Islamic theology.

Our Prophet commanded us to fight the kaafirs when we are able and to attack them in their homelands and to give them three choices before we enter their lands: either they become Muslim and be like us, sharing our rights and duties; or they pay the jizyah (poll tax) and feel themselves subdued; or they fight, in which case their wealth, women, children and homes become permissible as booty for the Muslims.

- Even your own stupidiy can not be this profound. There are regular calls from Christians and Jews to exterminate "Islamists" throughout the world, which equate to calls for the extermination of more than 1 billion people.

- Micma,
What your suggesting is that we approach terrorism from a solely defensive, not offensive position. We did that during the Clinton adminstration and the results were:
1. The first Twin Tower attacks
2. The African Embassy Bombings
3. The Cole Bombings
4. The 911 Attacks (That attack was executed under the Bush adminstration, but the FACT is- the hijackers were in the US during the Clinton adminstration, were taking flight lessons during the Clinton adminstration , and were meeting and coordinating during the Clinton adminstration.
Your plan of waiting of reacting instead of being proactive is ridiculous. Why don''t you ask a cop how he/she feels about laying the responsibility of thwarting terrorist attacks solely at their feet? - Reply to this comment

Re: "Oh Feelfree I thought you were a American, I have been standing up for over 30 years tackling alot of issues. I see no need for violence to promote change."
Perhaps we should get our own house in order before we go around pointing fingers and criticising others for not "standing up"...or are yuou satisfied with the current state of our nation?- Reply to this comment

Re: "feelfree1, please make some "modern day" comparisons regarding the present Islamic radical to christians and jews in America and abroad."
O.K. All of these groups seem to have violent extremists in their minorities. All of these groups base their ideas on fables rather than reasoning and common sense, rendering themselves very easy to scare and manipulate.
Re: "Also, describe in detail the methods these groups use to further there ideology."
Do your own research. One think that they have all shown is that the extremists among them are willing to hurt and kill others in order to advance the perceived agenda of their respective cult, they prey on the ignorant, and they rely on divide and conquer techniques.
Re: "Do christians and jews purposely target and kill innocent civilians in order to "terrorize" free societies?"
Of course. U.S. Christian extremists are illegally, and unjustifiably slaughtering/torturing civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. Jewish extremists in Israel are regularly slaughtering civilians in Palestine and Lebanon, for example. Do you live in a cave?
Re: "Do christians and jews publically call for the irradication of entire populations because they do not fit into there self perceived "world"?"

Re: "At least we know it''s not neccessary to attempt any factual dicussion with you as your thought process defies logic and reality."
Then why are you engaging me. Why not keep your dead-brained, cowardly, and misinformed opinions to yourself?
Who is "we"? do you claim to speak for others, or are you practicing your French?
Even your screen name is craven and vacant. You can only claim what you are "not", yet lack the wherewithall to state what you "are".
Quite a pittiful case.- Reply to this comment

I don''t either, nexgen99. I have nothing to hide, and if the government wants to listen to my phone all day, it''s ok with me.
I don''t understand what a retroactive warrant is, or how it would work, and was asking the person that posted how it would work.
In general, I think most of us don''t want to give up rights if we don''t have to, but in this case, I don''t have a problem with it, as long as there is some oversight on its use. I can see where it could conceivably be abused. But possible abuse should NOT stop its use as a tool for stopping terrorists. - Reply to this comment
