These people were taken hostage because they were in a part of Afghanistan that is lawless and they were "easy prey" not because of religion. They were there to provide medical aid to the Afghanis and this is the way that the Taliban repays them? The government is negotiating over the phone with these individuals and cannot trace the phone back to its location? Unable to pose a military strike upon their location and free the hostages? They Taliban have already demostrated their lack of respect for human life by executing the leader of this mission by pumping 10 bullets into his head, chest and stomach.

He was found with 10 bullet holes in his head, chest and stomach, said Abdul Rahman, a police officer. Another Afghan police official, who asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the situation, said militants told him the hostage was sick and couldn't walk and was therefore shot.


No one should condone this behaviour. There is no excuse for this.This is inhumane, mental torture to the other hostages. These people who did this are animals plain and simple.

ahahaahahahah that's the weakest "science is false" arguement in the world! Science is a DEVELOPING thing... no one is born knowing everything right? Everything has to be learned! Will we find a cure for AIDS and the common cold? of course we will... in TIME. That does NOT negate the *FACT* that the speed of light is 299,792,458 meters per second or 186,282 miles per hour. One has nothing to do with the other. That's like saying since I don't know how to make a really good chicken pot pie, that fire doesn't exist.. LOL.
