"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

If the militant Islamic extremist want to get a war started that will unify them, this is what Georgie boy wants. That way he can justify Nooking the mideast and bringing rampant terrorism (funded by him) under control. This will at the same time allow the advancment of the NWO's Globalization efforts toward total control through a form of 'Big Brotherism' (controlled by the 'Imperial presidency'). This latter admin will be deemed essential to the National Security posture of "DON'T GIVE IN, ITS THEM OR US" mentality promulgated by the HSA. (It will be unpatriotic to question the Presidents motives and agenda)(president for life, that is)

PREDICTION:
Those Dembot Politicians and the posters on this board who are accusing Bush of trying to play the "Fear" card are the same ones who will be screaming that Bush didn't do enough to protect us if another 9/11-type attack happens.

Amazing how 'coincidental' hearing these reports of El Qaeda being a threat have increased on virtually the same day as all of the remaining GOP Bush loyalists are breaking with Bush.
This lunatic we have in the White House is playing games with the intelligence office again. Playing the fear card is all this man knows how to do to retain power.

Yeah grazinggoat, 30 years from now we'll learn 9-11 was just a big CIA plot, just like we learned JFK's assasination was a big CIA plot, won't we?
Same way Pearl Harbor was a big FDR plot, and Lincoln's assination was a big Southern plot.

Be careful or you'll turn into just another Conspiracy Kook.

The truth is that 9-11 was done by extra-terrestrials who happened to look like Arabs.

Randall, to folow your logic: With all the stuff that Pres. Bush has done SINCE 9-11 to "drive young Muslims into bin Laden's arms," the truth is Bush is the CAUSE of 9-11, right?

Anyone smell a big nasty sewer rat named Bush? These power-hungry traitors are hoping hard (and probably helping too) that a terrorist attack in the US will occur between now and the election. "Wag the dog", baby. Wag it! LMAO

George W. Bush is the biggest recruitment tool (emphasis on "tool") that al-Qaeda could have ever asked for. Every move he's made has increased bin Laden's power and prestige among disillusioned young Muslims and driven them into his arms. Bush could not be doing a better job for al_Qaeda if he was trying. I mean just who is he collecting his paychecks from? Us or bin Laden? It's beginning to look more like he's bin Laden's employee every day!

grazzingoat-just what would you like us to do? After all, these people have rights, we can't touch them just for thinking and plotting now can we? Why the aclu would be all over us.
Now, join your friends at the koolaid vat.

-Jane, I'm not sue you understood my posting. What should be understood, well since all this has been lies above lies, above lies, well what credibility have GOPs and CIA left for us to believe. This country has laws and suddenly the Patriot Act, allowing the Walking-Liar to catch all terrarists and jail dem with no question. What are they waiting for?

My Gut-Feeling regarding this fear campaign is to prepare us to the inevitable. The interior service secrets are preparing anothe hit similar to the one of 911, if not harder... Yesterday it was a gut-feeling, and today, we see more... so they know what is being prepared and they know pretty what plan they have (Al-Q or CIA). If they don't foil the plots of an attack, it's just they are incompetent, seeing and knowing but not stopping dem. It's evident they are stirring something up. Who? that's another question. In thirty years from now, we shall know, once all this is unclassified.

Every time the shrub is in a hole or is being cornered, he has his munchkins trot out the fear factor. I for one have absolutely no doubt that Al Qaeda and other assorted nuts are trying and have been trying all along to do something nasty here. Big dahh on that one. What is totally absurd and dishonest is the way the "current administration" tries to use the obvious to scare folks so that they will stop noticing how grossly incompetent the shrub and chain-gang (and all of their minnons) are. A better and more accurate headline would be "The Shrub Ups Efforts To Discombobulate The U.S. And Destroy Its Effectiveness In The World." Nice try, no cigar.

WOW! WHAT a coincidence! This intelligence report coming out at the very same time as the report on the "progress" of the invasion/occupation of Iraq.

"We see more training, we see more money, we see more communications," says John Kringen, the CIA's director of intelligence.

- we see more, we see more, we see more, we see more, we see more... it's not a gut-feeling anymore, it's dream, it's a night-seeing, it's goggles. This is reassuring.

-Why in the world aint ya stopping dem terrarist?

Do you want us to attack Pakistan then? Usually it's considered bad form to attack one's allies, but I guess the Democrats have been doing it for a while now.

Re: "The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq were the ones who attacked us in America on Sept. 11,"

And Democrats are so gullible, reactionary, and opportunistic, they are helping the Bush-puppet to conflate the nonexistent 'al-Qaeda-in-Iraq', and helping to tie this fabled group to the idiotic global War of Terror.
