Why has the CIA not released it's findings about it's Investigation into 9/11??? The answer can be found by reviewing police reports of detained Israeli Citizens, who were later identified as either Mossad Agents or Israeli Military Special Forces, caught celebrating, high-fiving, dancing, and filming the attack on the World Trade Center.

Bush and minions hope the bad news from Iraq will be as good for them as bad news about al Qaeda. Their ostensible hope is Americans will now change their minds about Iraq, and conclude Iraq was somehow a good policy-- just with bad results-- so we need more of the same, and for an indefinite period. The official anti-logic for Iraq has become appalling.

The manner in which the bad news was released suggests Bush is desperately defensive, even devious. For example, the Iraq NIE took much longer for its "fact finding" than necessary. From all appearances, the report was unofficially impounded as long as possible.

In less than two years, many a situation can go from bad to worse. The decision to shelve the NIE for a while says a great deal about the level of denial driving Bush policy.
