Comments on: Charges Against Gitmo Detainees Thrown Out
Judges At Guantanamo Dismiss Two Cases In A Reversal For Bush Administration
- The Bush administration seems to find itself stuck between the metaphorical rock and hard place. On the one hand, that makes the third time that judicial decisions prevent the questionable trying of Gitmo detainees. On the other, considering how long they have been portraying the detainees as dangerous threats, they can't just let them go, despite what judges say. It seems to be a no-win situaiton for PResident Bush.

- The government should released to the media that the detainees have cooperated with the military by providing critically needed information. Then announce that we are returning them to their home countries.

- They should just report to the media that all their charges were dropped because they cooperated with the military and provided them with a lot of information. Then send them back home.

- bush thought because he ok'd it, it would run through as a kangaroo court. But then again he failed at everything else in life so it should be no small wonder that his idea of law would fail.

- The only unlawful combatant is President GW Bush who should be impeached and tried with his sidekick Richard Cheney for war crimes.

- Wait, wait there are INNOCENT people at Guantanamo? That can't be true: King George says they are terrorists!
Continue with the torture until the chauffeur confesses as to whether Bin Laden like ice in his drinks! We have truly become a soulless nation, no better than our enemies. Thank you Mr. Bush for killing he idea that America was different and special.

More proof that the corrupt, and incompetent GW Bush and his illegal military commissions are a huge pile of dog excrement (much like his mother, Barbara Bush). - Reply to this comment

- Seems Carter may not have had to appologize to Bush. Only, in the "Keystone Cop" silents have I ever seen such ineptness. The sad part is 4000+ Americans will die to please his egomania. And, we'll probably end up paying the Gitmo detainees remuneration. If, there's ever another Bush in an election, remember that Bush ='s war.

- What do you bet that this military judge Col. Brownback will be retired early and replaced by someone less trained in law?
Whatever happened to the soldier that killed Pat Tillman in Afghanistan? He never went to trial for murder... - Reply to this comment
