Morons like you are the reason I wouldn't allow my children (if I had any) to watch the "IDIOT BOX". Jack Bauer can self-fornicate and I hope the character dies a slow, miserable death!!!! No disrespect to actor Kiefer Sutherland. I despies FOX for capitalizing on and sensationalizing terrorrism for ratings, and ultimately money. Especially since you right wing nazis just eat it up. News flash genius, IT AIN'T REAL !!!!
The US Government / CIA is abducting foreign nationals from sovereign states, illegally detaining and torturing them & this is OK with you ?! If these were US citizens you NAZIS would be screaming for military intervention. Bottomline ? IT'S WRONG! And justifying it with scenarios you've seen in a television drama is ignorant to the "X" power.

This policy is ridiculous. Torture doesn't work on fanatics. The nation's enemies are already blowing themselves up, what else can we threaten them with? It's wrong and sends a message that we don't believe our own values.

The US has legitimate intelligence aims and goals, but if it doesn't work within the law, it loses credibility, and fewer foreign nationals will be willing to inform for us.

Besides, this nation should be focusing its defense efforts on powerful nation-states like China and Russia. They both possess the means to REALLY hurt us.

And you claim to have served in the US Navy?

You must be addressing the infamous j-whitman. I was in the navy, and I used to think he was BSing me about being in the navy. But I ment a guy this past weekend who was retired navy and I swear he sounded just like all the left wing, bedwetting liberals on here.

In all fairness, he was an enlisted man....a gunner's mate (not the sharpest tool in the shed), but still.....I had to rub my eyes and wonder what happened to our country. Absoutely amazing!

Excellent! When you hook their testaconies up to the juice, be sure to observe correct polarity. Wouldn't want to blow a fuse.

BATHING would be considered torture to these people. They stink worse than the animals they ride.

If only the United States of America could be more humane. This country should strive to be more like China, Sudan, Darfur, Ethiopia, Cuba, Venezuala, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia etc..............

Everybody needs to get it through their heads. To protect the free world as we know it, including civil liberties that everyone is talking about, we sometimes have to have "Allies" that are the lesser of two evils. We can have "secret prisons" (sounds ominous doesn't it?) around the globe to interrogate people before they threaten us here OR we can have car bombs in Boston. While I don't care for the politics in Boston, I do like the historical significance of the area and the hard-working people there, so I'll opt for the interrogation. Should Americans torture people? Define torture. Pull out fingernails and electric shock, no, it isn't even effective at gathering good intelligence. Let a potential terrorist lose a few hours of sleep, stay in an uncomfortable place, and allow his mind to worry about his fate, yeah it's called good work collecting information. The people we are talking about are NOT traffic violators, petty thieves, or even armed robbers. They are brainwashed, fundamentalist, fanatical Islamic fighters who want Islamic Sharia law, which has NO semblance of human rights or freedoms anywhere in it. In fact, they've publicly stated that democracy and freedom is a sign of weakness. Let's show them that they aren't. Should these tactics be used on Americans without due process? NO WAY. Should they be used for political opponents or outspoken critics of an administration. Absolutely not.

What part of stupidity, if not treason don't you understand, Loser-man?

Watch "24" sometime. If we didn't harshly interrogate these roaches, they'd kill us, just as they did on 9/11. But I guess in your Islamonazi appeasing stupidity, any form of interrogating these terrorists won't do.

Fine, Loser-man. Take your fellow reptiles, Bozo Fascists, Surrender Monkeys, MoveON Stooges, and Jooz haters - and your Democratic Party pals like Botox Nan and leave this country.

Since I, among millions of others, have to get to airports 2-3 hours early, have my bags fully searched so that I'm not carrying some device - unlike a roach like Mo Atta - then either deal with the reality that we sometimes have to use rough means or leave.

And you claim to have served in the US Navy? Yeah, second-class-stupid.
