The United States has lost her way. Money and greed have eroded away the foundation built upon free markets, democracy, and equality for all. Today, corporate money has rigged the system so fee markets are bought and paid for, equality is divided into the 1 percent and the rest of us, and elected positions go to the highest bidder. Disagreement with this is either out of blind ignorance or an utter refusal that this could happen here in the great old USA
Another malcontent liberal who thinks that everything should be handed to them, forget about this political line of 1% the facts are as clear as it could be the government is not the answer in fact, tell of any government program that it is efficiently and you will find NONE, get a grip of yourself and go find a job instead of complaining because at the end of the day, you need to be responsible for your own actions, so stop the political lines that the Democrats cry about the poiliticians love to give your money away to people who hate to work.
Into the evening I was still thinking some about this goofy article and some of the young people I know. I talked with one yesterday who just graduated high school. Her dream is to go to a fancy cooking school and become a chef. She can't afford the tuition and doesn't want to borrow the money. She just went to work for over $11 an hour at a call center and will stay there for the next year and save all she needs for school. Another person I know of just graduated from Job Corps out of the computer services class and went to work for $27 an hour. He has no student loans to pay back, just a debt to the society that helped him get that education and that debt will no doubt be paid back multiple times. Another just graduated from college and will go to work teaching in the fall. She'll probably never earn as much as the comp serv student from Job Corps will. It's sad, the "experts" scream foul when people start talking about young people not going to college. Realistically speaking, way too many of them don't belong there in the first place and would do much better all-round with vocational training. This country needs plumbers and electricians worse than it needs another computer graphic artist.
American students are graduating from college and coping with a ruling class determined to replace them with cheaper immigrant labor from places like China and India.
I think this writing was supposed to be inspirational but after taking the time to read its lengthiness I can sum it up like this: "Hey kids, you just graduated from college with fresh dreams of a bright future. Too bad, you lose, because corporataucracy have not only ruined your pursuit of the 'American Dream' but you're still going to be trying to pay off your student loans when you die. So since there's nothing you can do about the big picture go find something small to do so you can at least feel good about yourself as this country continues to spiral in a downward fashion."
HE IS WAY TOOO OPTIMISTIC...AND FOR THE REST OF THOSE WITH THEIR HEADS IN THE SAND...HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH AND IT HURTS BUT IT IS NONETHELESS THE TRUTH.WE ARE IN DECLINE AND NO AMOUNT OF FLAGWAVING AND YELPING ABOUT BEING NUMBER ONE IS GOING TO CHANGE THAT.
You're beating a dead horse with this shame on corporate America crap. Envy will get you to your grave earlier...and for some, who tolerate your verbose rampage, that will be a pleasant relief.
We can all start by electing a New president in November. You have nothing to lose. Obama is clueless and will continue on the same path. We have more people on Food Stamps and in Poverty under this Moron. Let's look ahead to a new beginning!!!
This is truly scary and invariably irreversible absent a successful revolution. 9/11 should have been planned for the state of the union w/ all the planes headed for the capital. Why? Because they are the most corrupt, evil bastards this country has ever spawned. Now those fireworks I would have loved to see!!
