National security advisers to the Republican presidential candidates have ties to defense, homeland security and energy companies that have received at least $40 billion in federal contracts since 2008 except Ron Paul!

This is why they are attacking Ron Paul cause they are all insiders who would lose money if Ron Paul became President!

Yep, if you repeat the SAME thing for close to 40 years, it MUST be true even if facts don't support it. Any implied criticism of Paul sure brings out his supporters in droves.

If there is proof that the facts don't support Ron Paul's views then present them. I mean, even NAACP's Austin Chapter president has come out saying Ron Paul is not a racist. Oh wait, he must have been bought off.

"The crudeness of Kirchick's cut-and-paste method shows how little he cares for the concept of truth."—Justin Raimondo, Taki's Magazine, January 18, 2008.

Kirchick is a second rate political hack whose only claim to fame is his smear job on Ron Paul. I suppose we can't blame him for trying to milk his hit piece for all he can get—if he had to actually rely on skill he would starve to death.

Its interesting to see what the repercussions of Paul's policies. Such as the de-regulation of industry...remember what he said at the debate regarding airline safety "if there are enough crashes, the industry will do something". huh??

Or getting rid of the fed reserve or going back to the gold standard? Or removing clean air and water regulations.

What are the repercussions???

Actually he doesn't want to get rid of the fed but a full audit yes. You do know the FED is a secretive private organization right?

So are you saying that the FAA has prevented all airplane crashes?

He wants to legalize competing currencies. What is wrong with that idea? If I don't want to put my families future and savings in fiat currency why shouldn't I be allowed to keep my money in a precious metal backed currency?

Tell me how effective the EPA is right now? Their hands are tied behind their back. If I was allowed to sue BP for the oil spill and they were forced to pay for 100% cleanup to get the land and air back to exactly where it was, no matter the cost, then tell me how many companies would be willing to risk polluting the air and water? Even if they did they would just be forced to clean it up. Ron Paul wants to reinstate private property rights. So in other words if someone pollutes my land I can sue them and force them to clean their mess up. Completely.

So the repercussions? The cost of entry into business is reduced. People can vote with their dollars. Companies are responsible for their own problems they create. Don't you think that a single negligence lawsuit without any silly restrictions on it is more of a detriment than some silly governmental agency that is only beholden to the companies they are supposed to be protecting us against?

Tell me why the FDA is going after Amish farmers who are producing raw milk and selling it to buyers co-ops (the co-ops are taking this milk over state lines) but yet they refuse to label GMO foods? How is this beneficial to the American Public?

Tell me what the SEC has done to protect us from Wall Street and multi-national corporations lately? Tell me how the general population has become smarter after the Department of Education was created? How did it improve schools and the educational system? No child left behind right?

Tell me one good thing any governmental agency has done to help protect the American public and I will be pretty darn impressed.

When did it become a crime to speak your mind in this country. Oooohhh his newsletter said that people that hold you and your family at gun point to steal you car are animals...how terrible!! Frankly, the people that rioted in LA and destroyed innocent peoples businesses need for someone to say something negative about them...is that really wrong? You make me sick!

There were many issues published of several different newsletter publications. Ron Paul read some of them some of the time, but not every one. When he says was not aware of them, he is referring to the specific issues, not the newsletters in general. Don't be daft.

The more you smear the more you increase his popularity because you demonstrate that he is the one the establishment fears the most. Americans hate the establishment right now. He is now running a strong second and rising in New Hampshire, after a week and a half of smearing him. Best thing you can do is out debate him on the issues. Make him boring and you may slow him down. But this... this is just driving people to him who hear your smears and then go online to be flooded by the truth from his supporters. We own the web in case you couldn't tell.

The Ron Paul SMEAR CAMPAIGN is in full swing I see!!! His simple and true response to these attacks: "I didn't write it. I didn't read it. I disavowed it." is never good enough for the media establishment because you are truly afraid of the man. Is that the best you can do??? Quote hate propaganda that was written by someone else and pawned off to be Ron Paul's? That's pathetic. I would expect the CBS editors to do it's due diligence and throw out bad reporting like this. You're flirting with A MAJOR LAWSUIT. Defamation is a crime, do you know that???

I think Mr. Paul has a base of support and could possibly win the Republican Primary IF given a proper chance. He won't because the Corporate Wh@res who run the Republican Party and their Pimps will NEVER allow that to happen. They want a Puppet running, someone THEY and THEY alone control. In other words the fix is already in and Romney is the guy... anyone else will get the Meat Grinder of attack ads as ONLY the Pimps can produce them.
