why is it that a woman has control of her body for an abortion, but does not have control of her body with the act that lead to the abortion. i'm speaking of prostitution. if a woman can do with her body what she will, then she should be able to present her body in a sex act for money, it's her body right? also why is it illegal to put any type of drug in her body, and why is the ultimate thing to do to yourself, suicide, illegal.

Bottom line here is, "Tiller the killer" brought this on himself. He knew what he was doing was wrong, legal or not. But he continued to do it, because that's what he "wanted" to do, and I bet he got paid pretty well for doing it. What is so called "legal", isn't always necessarily right. Just as something that's illegal, isn't always necessarily wrong. If Tiller had've stopped the killing of the innocent babies, he probably would still be alive today. And it's not like he hadn't been warned, so he knew. I don't know how "anybody" could claim that Tiller was an innocent victim. He may have been somewhat of a victim, a victim of a shooting, but definitely not innocent. Mr. Terry is exactly right in what he says, like it or not, but of course the people that advocate the killing of unborn babies won't agree, that's a given. So now "Tiller the killer" is gone, and countless babies will have a chance at life. And for those of you that say a woman's body is her's alone, and nobody else should have a say in what she does, I'd agree if there wasn't another body involved, the seperate body of her unborn baby. A baby that should have a right to live. Honest to God, it's beyond me how some of you could be so stupid.

That is YOUR belief and you have a right to it. The LAWS and reality do NOT agree. So do you have a right to commit acts of Terror to make sure everyone agrees with your view? The Doctor in this case was doing NOTHING Illegal yet he and those who desired his LEGAL services were Terrorized on a regular basis in the EXACT same way the people are Terrorized by the Taliban in the Middle East. Because he does NOT share YOUR views, because he does NOT agree with your religious Belief's he payed with his life. That is WRONG in EVERY nation and people who act in such a manner and aid those who use Terror should be held accountable. PERIOD!!

So YOU are going to put the Government in control of a Woman's Body but ONLY until she gives birth? Or at least at this point that's the only control you want...is that pretty accurate? If you carry the thinking of the extremist in this situation to conclusion, anyone stopping the process of making a baby would be guilt of murder then wouldn't they? If a man puts on a condom and has sex with a woman is he committing an abortion? If an X-Ray triggers a miscarriage, as they will do... If a Woman doesn't know she is pregnant, has an X-Ray and it results is that woman guilty of involuntary manslaughter? When you start thinking of this issues and how a Religious Extremist can USE them to gain even MORE control it boggles the mind. No, for me, I'll trust the average Woman out there and leave people like Pat Robertson out of it.

kristianinal- you are wrong. A woman's body is always hers, pregnant or not. Are you an expert at when a cell becomes viable. The only time the unborn child is viable is when it can survive on its own outside the woman's body. Think what you want, but you or no one else should be able to control a woman's body. Control your own and mind your own business.

You are so very right and it is WELL established in our Constitution and Laws that, in regards to who is a citizen, it begins at BIRTH! Why else do we require a BIRTH CERTIFICATE? In all our legal process, in every legal action we take, THAT is the base, the point of origin... OUR DATE OF BIRTH! The date WE became a person onto ourselves. Until that point We the People have and shouldn't have ANY control.

One thing this low life and those who follow him have learned well is how to LIE! They are no different than the Klan before them or the Taliban in the Middle East. They use hate and fear to play on the minds of simple people who lack the basic knowledge to see them for what and who they are. Suppose you had two children, 3 and 5. And your third pregnancy is found to threaten your life. Your doctor recommends a late-term abortion, to save your life. You go to a second doctor, and she recommends the same thing. Now, if you live in America, and you can't get to the two clinics who will help you, YOU ARE SCR*WED!!! And so are your two existing children. You are going to die and your children are going to have to grow up without their mother.

Tiller helped women no one else would help. Late term abortions are strictly regulated - these were women in the worst days of their life - having to choose between their own health and the baby they wanted; having to decide to abort a horribly deformed baby rather than carry it's corpse to term, having to fight their way through protesters to have a dead fetus that is killing their kidneys removed so they can live to be with their other children.

Randall's lies about late term abortion - giving the view that it is killing a healthy baby who otherwise would live - are no smalll part of why he shares in a large amount of guilt in this case.

Anyone who wants the real facts - look at the laws, look at the stringent requirements, multiple doctors, extremely serious problems required before a late term abortion can happen. The pro-life forces managed to get a fishing expedition, a case against him, and the jury found him innocent on every charge. You don't get a late term abortion for any reason other than a horrible tragedy - a massive risk to the mother's life, or a fetus that can never ever survive.
