It seems that there is a new greed based issue at least weekly. The problem is that since these are not "violent" crimes the accused get bail and the cases will not see the inside of a courtroom for years to come. We are so distracted that these headlines fade after only a few days and we move on to the next one. The outcry after the initial revelations about the 50,000 who have parked funds at UBS to evade taxes is now back page news. Personally I hope that we all get to see a list of every name on that list. It will be revealing to see how many CEOs, celebrities, old money rich, politicians, etc appear on the list.

The greedy banks and the greedy automakers need to be shut down before they completely bankrupt the taxpayers. What would happen if we the people simply took all of our money out of the greedy big banks, and refused to do business with the greedy automakers? It seems to me that a run on all the big banks would shut them down in spite of the government, wouldn't it? Just a thought.
The congressmen chastising the CEOs is like the murderers, rapists, drug dealers in prison looking down on the pedophiles. Maybe emptying out Guantanamo is a good idea. It will make room for Congressmen and CEOS. The best part of the Congressmen putting the CEOS on the firing line is that these CEOs are the same guys who signed and authorized the checks to the Congressmens campaign fund.
I would like to see. The bail out money come to mortgage payers and apartment renters. Pay offt the interest rates or a lump sum of the mortgage value. Either way would result in the mortgage companies getting their monies. Which in turn would mean the banks get their monies. Freddie Mae and Fannie Mac would get their monies . If the Feds give this bail out money to the Greedy banks. Then nothing out here changes. We all would have more money in our pockets to reinvest in the economy. The wealthy banks and Mortgage companies. Who were behind this recession will get all that tax money. We as tax payers will get nothing, but continued bills Banks, Utility Companies, Credit Card Com. charge late fees and higher interest and overdraft fees to poor people. When was the last time you heard of rich people having to cope with this extortion. Only the poor who can''t afford to pay any more are the ones being forced to pay more. How American or Christ like is that?

Come on it is not hard to figure this one out. Geithner was scheduled to announce the bailout, but the congress was dragging its feet and they didn''t want to endanger the passage of the stimulus bill by announcing the plans for the bailout before the stimulus bill passed. From the looks of it they had to have Geithner go out and announce a very vague plan to stall for time. Now that the stimulus bill has passed , after Obama signs it, we will get to see whats really behind the curtain. I HOPE someone has a brain in how they are doing it.
Regarding the strategies concocted by the Wall Street leeches to destroy the country, Osama Bin Laden this very minute is thinking to himself, "Heh, why didn''t I think of that?"
And, the most riotously comedic aspect, if you will, of the whole dam thing is here is Bush spending hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars chasing his tail, destroying these so-called "terrorists" overseas while the community here rots from WITHIN!! The U.S. experience is just part of an age pattern where empires eventually collapse from WITHIN. My own view is this country is utterly repulsive, just disgusting, and the behaviors we see daily and the profligacy and literal in-your-face wastefulness are just one small part of the problem.
